I loved a brief moment of silence before the core broke completely. It's a shame silence is an underrated yet impactful thing in sound design, especially in action scenes

They just don't reach that speed so easy, Eva 00 and 02 could reach that speed if they don't have to slow down for turning.
The way the sound design and cut play reminds me of Genndy Tartakovsky. It’s so refreshing and if anyone doesn’t know who Genndy is if you watched Samurai Jack, Primal, Dexter’s Laboratory or Sym-Bionic Titan then you’ll get what I’m saying. Huge respect to your sound design and cuts it is astonishing.

a great re-imagining of sound design in evangelion, hell there is very little to actually criticize, since the stylizations of the sound gives an entirely different feel from the source material. I myself am not qualified to put any criticism on the work of art that is this sound concept, however I do have a single thought about how it feels, evangelions are clearly biological, from their design to the way they move, so these "servo" sounds are an odd contrast that, while it doesn't subtract from the experience, feels out of place in certain areas and movements. Perhaps if these servo noises were more muted and signified smaller adjustments and more precise positioning, which would be complimented by big and loud rubbery muscle noises for fast and smoother movements. For example, areas like the hands and head could make these servo noises, while big muscled areas like the hips, elbows/knees, and shoulders could have the muscle noises. idk, about how valuable this is, i was just providing an idea.
The reboot of TOS with the CGIangels and smoothest Eva animation is an absolute treat.NGE has been re-done to death but the original series, reboot and the End of are all glorious (and quite disturbing too, but glorious)

Everything about this is amazing, but I have just the tiniest bit of creative critique: From 0:25 to 0:29 we mostly hear servo sounds. Gears and such. Considering that EVA are actually organic creatures just wearing "mecha exoskeletons" this sound feels incorrect to me. That is all. Everything about this I love more than the actual audio from these movie remakes. I honestly hope they hire you for the next remake xD

Jaegers are mechanical, therefore you would expect them to move in a more robotic and slow fashion. Evas however are organic so their smoother movements make sense.
Maybe I'll sound like a nerd, but, in the scene with the sonic boom and the cars first we should hear the "boom", and after that the jet-like noises. Otherwise I loved it!

everyone there was involved with nerv and it waas vital they lived so close, as people live with their families there is a need for it to be a fully functioning city - hospitals, schools, etc
