Thanks for making this video. ❤️ Answered all our questions. 👌 Not suitable for indoors … 🙃 You have a lovely house, those internal stairs are so well finished! 😍 Subbed. 🔔
Thanks so much - yes it's not very good indoors especially in a small house. I'm glad you liked our stairds too! They took a LOT of effort and hard work to cover those steps - we had some old crappy 1950's stairs that had seen better days!
There are some X1 videos on TH-cam shot by an Estate Agency or a Real Estate agent - indoors using the automatic flight modes like Dolly track etc. Very effective Asa sales tool.
Hi - thanks, interesting! I'll take a look - I think it could work better on larger properties with decent floor space - but for real estate it would definitely be cool!
Can you place it on the ground, on a flat smooth surface and takeoff in manual mode, without using your hand? And when ready to land, land back on the ground. And additionally, rather than land manually, switch off manual mode and then land on your hand? Using the app. If you had the little 8bitdo controller, could you do the same thing
Hi there! Thanks for your questions. I'm pretty sure it needs to see the user's face before taking off with manual mode, though let me check and get back to you. It can land on the ground in manual mode with the Down button. You can't switch off manual mode while flying - it needs to land and then enter another mode to land on the hand. To land on the hand, just need to hold out the hand under it - so don't need the app to tell it to land on the hand. The same is true with the controller.
There’s another controller from 8bitdo called "Micro". I just configureted mine yesterday and it works very well. With this one you can change the functions. In my case I clip mine horizontally on the lower side of my phone to see on the same time the camera view. It’s necessairy to use both hands, therfore it’s good to have a solution to clip in on your phone. BTW it did very well in our apartement. I even did a track under the table. Costs: only 25$ (e.g. Amazon).
Hi! Thanks so much for sharing this information! I contacted 8bitdo to ask but they did not respond, neither did Hover people. I was wondering if there is a better controller and the fact that it is horizontal not vertical is so much better. I find the vertical controller really confusing to use. So it can "learn" the functions, how is it possible to configure it to control the drone?
@@4T-Tech You can set the options with keyboard-letters. I = ascend, G = decent, H = rotate left, N = record and so on. That’s why it’s possible to set up horizontally.
I’ve flown mine indoors. I found it easy to control and smooth using my phone app.
Cool, nice, I'm found it a little tricky but probably my fat fingers pressing wrong buttons. A larger room I think is easier as well
For indoor videos, try a 360 camera with an "invisible" stick.
😀 That's a great suggestion, thanks!
