I had been wanting to pay more each month to eradicate the debt. I had been scared to not tithe feeling as if I wasn’t putting God first. Your teaching just freed me! 🙌🏽 I’m still going give to ministries I follow and give to the poor. However I no longer feel bad for paying more on my debt than tithing. I got my answer Minister Ewing from 2 Cor. 9! thank you Jesus! We have been giving to the Poor for years even though we were considered poor, but God kept blessing us with more to give. I went from giving an extra 10, which is what I only had faith for in the beginning, to hundreds. I am learning so much! Lord thank you for your WORD!! Anyone remember the teaching Mr. Ewing gave when you have a dream, "when you dreamt that someone is holding you down you are trying to talk and you can't. You are trying to say Jesus and the word is not coming out also in my dream, I actually felt my bed shaking and it's like I was being suffocated". Yes when we are in need, the pastor's tell us to trust God. But when they in need they trust the church to give to them. They should practice what they preach.
I pay tithe since I got born again not because of any preacher but they Lord convince me on the importance of tithing. So if you don't wan to pay your tithe that's good but for me not as a law but by the Spirit of God I learnt the importance of tithing. Let's all ask the Holy Spirit to teach us
I hope you are also generous in all areas especially to the poor. Often tithing can become a legalistic excuse to not be generous in all areas as you have done your ‘bit’ therefore do not feel obliged to give any more. 2 Cor 9:11 Gal 2:10 Heb 13:16 Blessings
I have been tithing since being born again. Everyone except myself was blessed. Now that I know about tithing and on giving to the poor, I have been blessed.
Consider WHERE you are putting your tithes. Think about how blessed someone could feel who is need , you give them whatever your tithe is? People who are praying for a miracle , and you show up! Think about how much more a persons faith is increased when you partner with God to tithe in that way!

In kenya tithing is the main in churches.in other churches there are even other offerings,like one called altar offering which is supposed to protect you from evil altars raised against you

Kenya is the pit where all false prophets reside, even those allover the world come here for quick riches. Especially when the poor christians hear them speak American English or Nigerian (pigeon-hope it's called so), they now feel the fire of the holy spirit warming their hearts and dig deeper into their torn pockets! God help Kenya. If you want to get rich or die trying, you need a bible(doesn't need to have all the pages even, coz it's not for reading but slapping their heads), anointing oil, white handkerchief, better still hand towel, a creepy suit and sharp shooter shoes! Right!). These churches are indeed taking advantage of people vulnerability but I need my facts from the word to agree with your teachings but what you said made sense!
Psalms 41:1 works... I considered the poor..GOD came thru for me. I helped those in need...money started to come in supernatural. I have seen gas appear in my tank when I was empty. My income also increased when I applied GOD's principal Mr. Kevin talks about in his videos, it really works. Thanks!

Wow dear Kevin I just want to testify you are right I lost my job this month and I've been tied and faithfully to this church for years a year's and I came up and asked if they could help me up pay my rent I'm a widow I have no father I have no family that could help me I have no job right now and they said they could only give me 200 or $300 but the building is big and beautiful they even build a cafe inside this building for what reason how is that gonna help a widow and when I ask for a help up they said well we could only give you $200 or maybe $300 when my rent is a $1000
Really? I don't know the whole story but were you expecting them to give you your whole rent? Why would you live in a place you cannot afford. Don't blame the church when you make such mindless decisions. The earlier you comes to terms that nobody owes you anything, the better. I'm hoping nobody forced you to give to the church. Now, you know better. Seek God and know God for yourself and stop blaming the church for any misfortune that you may have. It's easy to pass the blame.

I thank The Most High for opening my eyes to this revelation of tithings. When I went to church decades ago I couldn't figure out why I was always broke and in debt, especially after giving all my tithes and offerings to the church. It had gotten so bad y'all that I started to leave my checkbook at home cause I knew they was going to ask for the tithes and offerings on top of a special offering, church building offering, pastor new outfit offering, pastor new car offering, if that offering ain't enough offering, we $10 short offerings, you need a miracle offering, in a 3 day miracle offering, first lady need a new wig offering. Jesus is lord I have waited for this day where a man of God will stand and teach the truth about this subject The church is using women to smooth talk us into obeying this deception and men to force your hand into paying. These Churches are taking from the widows and the poor and give very little to the needy or even nothing at all God purge the church of this wickedness open their eyes to see and so they will stand for the truth and righteousness.
The church is also not held accountable financially. I bet if the leadership of the church presented the statements of all financial affairs the church would gladly meet the need but there is no transparency just continued demands from the congregation. This has opened my eyes immensely, I cannot lie. I always took offense when my mom expressed that most churches are money making skeems guised as church, it really is the case. The church I attend has collected offerings for the covid lockdown multiple times in one month. It's appalling at this point.

The first mention was Abraham giving 10 percent after the slaughter of the kings, and MelChezidek came and blessed Abraham. Then I think it’s mentioned about Jacob, Jacob or issac I forget which one, but true that it was Old Testament.
This is the reason we have so many churches sprouting in each and every corner, if tithing is eradicated there will be fewer churches and sound doctrines taught, this is the same reason people of the world call churches business centres!!!

Whatever the Lord places on your heart, be a cheerful giver.... we are no longer capped at 10%...... also we should do our best to get out and stay out of debt. We shouldn't owe anyone except to love them

Constantine was mocking those who were actually called People of The Way who followed Yahusha or Christ as the world says. Hi! I have had moments of panic because I felt like God was going to strike me down. I started giving to the food pantry at my church and our widows fund. I will also buy food if I see someone in need. I started in April. Recently I got a new job with a higher pay. I live in an affluent city (God has been sustaining me. I have been late on rent every month but He had made a way ). I never saw homeless/needy people unless they walked up to me. I was wondering how would I help the poor if I don't even see them. It's no coincidence that this new job that the Lord gave me is downtown Houston where there are poor and homeless individuals everywhere. My new job involves outreach to help provide them with things that they need. I get to connect them with Dr's. Housing, food pantries, and more. I want to say it's because I now have the understanding of tithing vs giving. Even if I can't give money. I want to give my talents, time, encouragement, etc. I also took time to do my own study and came across 2 Corinthians 9:7.
A pastor said that when he baptize people they do not came to his church anymore and he is not sure that when he baptize a person that they have chance their lifestyle so he won't baptize a person unless they take a six weeks class on baptizem and come to his church

People try to justify tithing by saying Jesus is the next Melchizedek priest, which He is, but Hebrews 7:15-16 says "who is made, not after carnal commandment (legal requirement), but after the power of an endless life." 18 "there is an annulling of the former commandment. 19 "there is the bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God."

I like this verse. The only issue I have with is that most churches not do put it into practice. When people have needs, the church tells us to pray. They should financially assist congregates instead of just praying.

Giving should never be an argument especially when giving to the church. Yes God don’t need your money but the church does, so don’t worry about what the church is doing with the money just give with a willful heart. Yes Ive always thought that way. I dont believe that the church is suppose to be a temple of God. God knows what the church needs. We dont have to organize it and beg. I feel like you said about a willful heart and heart led by holy spirit wont have a problem giving to anyone or to the church. I think God will advise you on who to help and how much to give. Which very well could be more than 10%. Holyspirit will give people the fruit of the spirit. It will be a thing done without being told by people. Bc youve been told by God.💜🕊

Don't even persuade them to give more than they have decided in their hearts. Also, we are told to give to the poor. It is better to put the poor first in my eyes but I don't know if that's biblical. Jesus said sell all your possessions and give to the poor if you want to be perfect . Jesus also said that when you give to the needy you are giving to God!

God help Kenya. If you want to get rich or die trying, you need a bible(doesn't need to have all the pages even, coz it's not for reading but slapping their heads), anointing oil, white handkerchief, better still hand towel, a creepy suit and sharp shooter shoes! That's it! Practice whirling and twirling your tongue for speaking in tongues and, prophecy! In 1-2 years, you will own a tower in the CBD and several branches will follow! I am blown away by this. To God be the glory but I will be studying this and so much more you have written about: bless you for this and I will study the word and comment once I am done: so far I believe for I always felt concern about so much tithing (Sun, Wed, Saturday….doesn’t see. Right!). These churches are indeed taking advantage of people vulnerability but I need my facts from the word to agree with your teachings but what you said made sense!
Psalms 41:1 works... I considered the poor..GOD came thru for me. I helped those in need...money started to come in supernatural. I have seen gas appear in my tank when I was empty. My income also increased when I applied GOD's principal Mr. Kevin talks about in his videos, it really works. Thanks!

Wow dear Kevin I just want to testify you are right I lost my job this month and I've been tied and faithfully to this church for years a year's and I came up and asked if they could help me up pay my rent I'm a widow I have no father I have no family that could help me I have no job right now and they said they could only give me 200 or $300 but the building is big and beautiful they even build a cafe inside this building for what reason how is that gonna help a widow and when I ask for a help up they said well we could only give you $200 or maybe $300 when my rent is a $1000

Really? I don't know the whole story but were you expecting them to give you your whole rent? Why would you live in a place you cannot afford. Don't blame the church when you make such mindless decisions. The earlier you comes to terms that nobody owes you anything, the better. I'm hoping nobody forced you to give to the church. I thank The Most High for opening my eyes to this revelation of tithings. When I went to church decades ago I couldn't figure out why I was always broke and in debt, especially after giving all my tithes and offerings to the church. It had gotten so bad y'all that I started to leave my checkbook at home cause I knew they was going to ask for the tithes and offerings on top of a special offering, church building offering, pastor new outfit offering, pastor new car offering, if that offering ain't enough offering, we $10 short offerings, you need a miracle offering, in a 3 day miracle offering, first lady need a new wig offering. Jesus is lord I have waited for this day where a man of God will stand and teach the truth about this subject The church is using women to smooth talk us into obeying this deception and men to force your hand into paying. These Churches are taking from the widows and the poor and give very little to the needy or even nothing at all God purge the church of this wickedness open their eyes to see and so they will stand for the truth and righteousness.
The church is also not held accountable financially. I bet if the leadership of the church presented the statements of all financial affairs the church would gladly meet the need but there is no transparency just continued demands from the congregation.
This has opened my eyes immensely, I cannot lie. I always took offense when my mom expressed that most churches are money making skeems guised as church, it really is the case.
The church I attend has collected offerings for the covid lockdown multiple times in one month. It's appalling at this point.

Constantine was mocking those who were actually called People of The Way who followed Yahusha or Christ as the world says. I'm watching this in March 2024, is there anyone that switched from tithing in church to the poor that can share their positive testimony after they switched? Hi! I have had moments of panic because I felt like God was going to strike me down. I started giving to the food pantry at my church and our widows fund. I will also buy food if I see someone in need. I started in April. Recently I got a new job with a higher pay. I live in an affluent city (God has been sustaining me. I have been late on rent every month but He had made a way ). I never saw homeless/needy people unless they walked up to me. I was wondering how would I help the poor if I don't even see them. It's no coincidence that this new job that the Lord gave me is downtown Houston where there are poor and homeless individuals everywhere. My new job involves outreach to help provide them with things that they need. I get to connect them with Dr's. Housing, food pantries, and more. I want to say it's because I now have the understanding of tithing vs giving. Even if I can't give money. I want to give my talents, time, encouragement, etc. I also took time to do my own study and came across 2 Corinthians 9:7.

I like this verse. The only issue I have with is that most churches not do put it into practice. When people have needs, the church tells us to pray. They should financially assist congregates instead of just praying.

Yes God don’t need your money but the church does, so don’t worry about what the church is doing with the money just give with a willful heart. Yes Ive always thought that way. I dont believe that the church is suppose to be a temple of God. God knows what the church needs. We dont have to organize it and beg. I feel like you said about a willful heart and heart led by holy spirit wont have a problem giving to anyone or to the church. I think God will advise you on who to help and how much to give. Which very well could be more than 10%. Holyspirit will give people the fruit of the spirit. It will be a thing done without being told by people. Bc youve been told by God.💜🕊

Also, we are told to give to the poor. It is better to put the poor first in my eyes but I don't know if that's biblical. Jesus said sell all your possessions and give to the poor if you want to be perfect .
Jesus also said that when you give to the needy you are giving to God!
