In order of appearance: Baltimore Oriole, Black-cowled Oriole, Keel-billed Toucan, Collared Aracari, Yellow-throated Toucan, Northern Emerald Toucanet, Turquoise-browed Motmot, Lessons Motmot, Blue-grey Tanager, Crimson-collared Tanager, Flame-colored Tanager, Golden-hooded Tanager, Red-throated Ant-Tanager, Scarlet-rumped Tanager, Silver-throated Tanager, Speckled Tanager, Summer Tanager, Green Honeycreeper, Spot-crowned Euphonia, Thick-billed Euphonia, Red-capped Manakin, Rufous-tailed Jacamar, Quetzal, Black-throated Trogon, Collared Trogon, Gartered Trogon, Crimson-fronted Parakeet, Orange-chinned Parakeet, Red-lored Amazon, Scarlet Macaw, Montezuma Oropendola, Chestnut-headed Oropendola, Black-cheeked Woodpecker, Collared Redstart, Eastern Meadowlark, Green Kingfisher, Purple-throated Mountain-gem, White-throated Mountain-gem, Talamanca Hummingbird, White-necked Jacobin. Man I just cannot keep up with these bird names. The Yellow-throated Toucan used to be the Chestnut-mandibled. Lesson's Motmot used to be Blue-crowned. Scarlet-rumped Tanager was split into two species...Passerini's and Cheerie's. Now it looks like they've been grouped back together again. And I'm pretty sure that Gartered Trogon was once known as the Violaceous Trogon.
Yep, you are totally right. It is difficult to keep up to date. And recently the American Ornithological Society has vowed to change the English names of all bird species currently named after people. So bye bye to Lesson's Motmot, Hoffman’s Woodpecker and Wilson’s Plover
& they say all that beaty came from a big bamg lol
