Hummingbirds are so common in south america that I forget that they aren't common world-wide
Here in Brazil we found them easily in cities, one of the most welcomed visitors that we can get
    We call them flower-kisser

I can't imagine, as hummingbirds are the definition of "exotic" bird in Germany... Ever since some parrots escaped a local zoo and founded a noisy colony in an urban park.

I know, I live in Mexico and even in cold-ish climates you get them from time to time at your home. I feel like a lot of people in latin america don't value enough the wildlife we have :( (like the recent condor incidents)

I'd love to see more about how tropical birds or parrots would live in the wild.
I'm finding it very difficult to actually find documentaries that focus on these beautiful birds who for either their intelligence or beauty are kept as pets/companions.
If you could dedicate some more episodes on that it would be awesome!
Or if anyone could tell me of some documentaries of these types of birds? (I know of planet earth and the Kea despite the Kea not being (all) tropical. Any help would be appreciated!

Breathtaking beauty these birds. The quetzal doesn't even look real. It remind me a bit of a Furby, of all things. ^^

Damn just checked out your website and you're a surprisingly talented paleo-artist. Love your depiction of cambrian creatures, keep doing what you do.
