Great, thanks for sharing. I would use a plastic tool for removing the cover of the taillights instead a srewdriver. And by the way, u deserve some better tools.
I would not trust U-Haul with electrical work on a complex car like this. The right way to do it is to get the OEM wiring harness. You will then need a laptop to program the car and tell it that there is now a tow package. What Uhaul will do is run wires and connect to taillights, which is like a Kia mechanic working on a Porsche. If there is any electrical damage, it will be costly.
Awesome job explaining the process!

nice video, but that Cayenne is not a 2018 model
@Michel Guerrero no, its a 2011-2014 model. the 2015-2019 model has a different rear fascia and taillights
se merece 3 manitos arriba.... muy bien explicado y detallado...
Great video. it has light plug?
What about the electrical? Without that it is really just for a bike rack or something like that. Does U-Haul install electrical?
They do! From a 4flat basic lighting to 7 round with brake control set-ups

Cool!
Hi this is a 2011-2014 Porsche Cayenne
Anyone install this on a GTS trim? Someone on a forum said the Curt trailer hitch wont be compatible with GTS trims.
How much torque is needed for the hitch lug nuts? Thank you
