Another amazing cover by Grace, technical issues aside towards the end. I don't know how but she manages to elevate these cover songs to be better than the originals in most cases. She's that good!

Just listened to the Amy Winehouse version of Valerie and I hope that Amy fans don't take offense but Grace's version is better. Grace, like Joe Cocker, seems to always improve the songs covered.

We are all brought together because of her stupid idea to buy a uke with b-day money. Why? Because she knew she had music inside of herself and wanted to get it out to the world. That's what I see. Did awesome, but wouldn't this have been a perfect opportunity to do Lungs or Hope for Change? Not only would they have never been sung live before, but unlike Valerie, they are both originals. What is going on with those two songs. The only thing that makes sense are two things: She doesn't like the songs, or there's some sort of control over them that makes it so she can't perform them. I hate both reasons. especially the second one. If she didn't want to perform them then I would have to accept that and live with it, but something tells me it's the second reason. It's Target or the co-writers or someone giving her the worst advice ever. I just can't even guess why and it makes me angry every time I think of it.
