Had a blast shooting this!👊 What an amazing bike, surprised us big time how well it rides on different terrains and fun fact, Jacob actually told me he thinks it almost rides better in the pump track than a regular bmx 💥
It would be interesting to see this on a pump track. I'm guessing rides better doesn't mean faster? Those wide knobby tires and suspension sag have got to drain your pumping power.
Finally got mine yesterday after waiting since June, and it is definitely what I expected, nothing less than excellent! This bike is a perfect balance between a BMX, a DJ, and an MTB. If you can get one? GET ONE!!! I'm 53 years old and my passion in the '80s was freestyle/BMX, and this bike brought back the love and passion I had when I was younger.
As a mntbiker my initial thought was, what’s the point, just get a full suspension mtb… but if it get’s more riders on bikes, shredding and having a blast, that’s the point. Now I want one! 😀
The point is it’s not a MTB. Not as limited as a MTB. Smaller frame allows for many more possibilities. Since MTB copy everything from BMX, why not change the tables for once. But I see a whole new level of possibility with this.
as a guy from Cologne Germany i can say that im reeally proud that this beast is made in my hometown.. im not so deep in BMX more in Downhill and Freeride but when i see this beast i really want to shred it. Great work, great bike and awesome video. where is the riding location???
We've got great mountains here for downhill, check out Åre Bike Park and Järvsö Bike Park. We will for sure visit those with this beast this summer!@@ottopeede
I live in rural Arizona in the middle of the Sonoran desert.. id love to get my hands on one of these asap.😂 Reminds me of that one some new Zealand rider built a few years back
Looks like a fun bike. While it might not be a true BMX bike, having disc brakes would be lovely to see on BMX bikes. Especially when the BMX bike is used for commuting, how unusual that might sound. Anyway, I do hope to see a version of the Swamp Master one day without the suspension.
"True BMX"? Uhm, maybe people don't remember, but a lot of BMX bikes had suspension forks back in the 90's. BMX is just a wheel size and geometry concept. I might even argue that "Bicycle Moto-cross" is nothing more than a mindset and way of life. I feel like my 26" DJ feels more "Moto-cross" than my 20".
@@culturelog A regular modern BMX bike, that is what I meant. But they do not come with disc brakes nor are the frames compatible with it besides a single frame. Now the problem is reliably getting wheels for that frame. So, it would be nice to a see a Wethepeople complete disc brake bike that is like a modern BMX bike but without the full suspension stuff a BMX bike would not benefit from.
Its literally everything Ive been looking for. Something I wouldn't mind walking up the mountain. Wonder if i could get one extra gear on that back side...
From the planning to the execution on a controversial and difficult-to-market bike, fantastic job on the video! The terrain, conditions, and riders was the right combo for upping the stoke and showing what this bike is about! The bike looks real nice too :D Anyone have some insight on if this bike (with street tires) would do well to cushion big drops to flat on the street? Kinda like urban freeride.
I did a basket with all the parts of the bike online (minus the frame of course cause you can't buy it alone) the total was 2500$ cad and they sell the bike 3000 $ cad so the price really does make sence
We use an 8" rise bar on this bike. The stem can be flipped if you need to ride it lower. When the fork is udner sag the front end height is comparable to a regaulr bmx setup.
Cool bike. Have to make sure my kids wont see it 😂 Not sure the tricks in the video needed a full sus BMX bike though. You can do all that with just an ordinary BMX.
This is exactly the kind of riding this bike is good for but if you don't intend to spin and jib that much, 26" wheels will be much better on unstable terrain. Also don't be fooled by the size, it's heavier than MTB bikes. Just saying. Glad it exists as an option. I would like to see a hard tail with just a suspension fork and disk brakes. Makes more sense to me.
SWMAP MASTER OUT NOW! - www.wethepeoplebmx.de/bikes/swamp-master
should have space for a dropper seatpost!🤣 looks really fun!!
Site is down when I go to “store” :(
Bike is instock at dealers now, restock arriving in Janaury ;)@@berad1cal
I don't see pricing or an add to cart button how much is the pricing
I have an idea to make this insanely fun. 😏
Want one badly. After all these years of having MTBers mess up their trails - BMXers now get to footplant the lips at MTB parks!! Balance restored.
what MTBers are messing up BMX spots lmfao
You know you can actually do things without finding conflict in everything. Life becomes fantastic ❤

Thanks for putting it through its paces. Good to know it handles the snow just as well as the dirt 🚀
The video is amazing. Amazing work both of you. Jacob shredssss

Thanks! The boys smashed it with this one.

I have a BMX I ride almost daily and a 29er MTB that occupies space most days, BMX has so much more agility and comfort then the MTB
I’ll get this before I buy a mountain bike Forsure. Hopefully in the near future 👊
😁
Какое красивое видео! Давно ждал видоса с этим байком))
whuuuu, a full suspension BMX? that is pretty bad ass

We filmed it in Östersund, Sweden and the surroundings of Åre.
@@niklassundin Oh, that's a bit far away. At first I thought it was near Geroldtstein in the German Eifel.. keep on shredding

You mean a regular bmx bike?! Wethepeople already sells bmx bikes without suspension.... all bmx bike companies do
