People get so.hung.up on the blonzer being a bronzer and blush, that they dislike it because it doesn’t “bronze.” I think it’s the marketing that did them wrong.
Ugh I love complexion rescue! I put it on with my fingers and then blend it in with a beauty sponge. Looks so natural and makes my skin look perfected. I’ve been using it for 5 years.
Products I love that others don’t: Nars Orgasm Blush! Definitely gives you the kisses by the sun look! And the Jaclyn hill blush/bronzer duos. They also give you the kisses by the sun look. And of course the new Nars Orgasm on the beach palette, definitely gives you a glowy kisses by the sun look!
I bought one shade of the Blonzer (“someone” made me do it 😃) and when I tried it…..I ordered the other two shades immediately. They’re just SO GOOOD. I have fair skin and I can easily use all three. The best blushes I’ve ever tried. They should make them permanent AND come out with more shades. 😍
Target has a new natural deodorant that's 4.99 called hey human it's probably the best deodorant beside native . I worked 10 hour days through a 115 degree heat wave and didn't smell at all.
I agree Kelly! I hated the Kopari deodorant. I use Native in the winter and Little Seeds Farm Cream Deodorant in the summer. I love the Blonzer. I have the same shade. And finally. I didn’t like the Elf CC foundation either!!!
I'm 46 with extremely dry under eyes and full of fine lines and wrinkles and I absolutely love the ELF Flawless Brightening Concealer. It's creamy, blends easily under my eye and I can lightly set it without feeling my under eye getting crusty within seconds. Also absolutely love the Bare Minerals blonzer. I think the marketing was wrong with this but is is a gorgeous blush. I love them because I don't like a ton of highlight and those blushes give me the perfect amount of color and a bit of highlight and they last a long time.
I've enjoyed all your post-NY backgrounds, but this is definitely my favorite! Except that I need to see more of what that coppery figure is! It looks like a bird?
I like the elf brightening concealers and the hydrating camo! The brighteners are great for under my eyes and the hydrating camo is better for actually covering my acne spots!
I 100% agree with you about the e.l.f. Concealer. I love that product and use it almost everyday. They're great for a light makeup day, but I also love to mix them in with higher coverage concealers to make the coverage more medium. It's surprising how many people don't like them.
I love the Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue. It’s my everyday foundation. I find that the way it’s sits on the skin varies a lot depending on the moisturiser you’re wearing. When I use a very light gel type, it looks great but if I use something heavier, like a more typical creamy moisturiser, it stars flaking or bunching up in the skin and looks horrible.
I love the e BM blonzer also. I have the same shade and it’s so pretty on my light medium skin tone i. It enhances my complexion with a natural fresh flush. I don’t understand why people don’t like it.
I can't stand the ELF Camo concealer either! I wanted to love it but the Colourpop Pretty Fresh is my favorite. You've talked me into the Bite Blushes, you definitely have that sunkissed look and it's so beautiful! 🌞
Girl I don't even like pink and I love those vases. And I sing the praises of that ELF concealer all over makeup subreddits, hoping to spread my love for it lol.
That’s so interesting, I basically use complexion rescue as a moisturizer or primer on days I don’t wear makeup because it has no pigment for me but I love that it just keeps my skin hydrated and flowy
Hey Kelly... Jen Phelps did a dupes video and said the Milani blush in Berry Amore was practically a spot-on dupe for the BM Blonzer shade you have -and she was right! I already own this blush but really wanted to try the blonzer - now I don't have to! Just a suggestion to anyone who might be looking for a cheaper alternative. (here in Canada its $33 at Sephora for the blonzer).
I love the Blonzer, but I HATE the Complexion Rescue. It SO SHINY on me. Not glowy, just flat out shiny. I felt like all my wrinkles were super emphasized. And it felt greasy, like it needed to be powdered. Which I don’t want to do in the summer. I do love the new Tarte serum foundation in the s turquoise squeezy bottle. It’s perfect.
So I have been on the fence about the Bare Minerals Blonzer in Touch of Pink, but you saying you couldn't find the pink shade online anymore put the fire under me and I promptly bought it! ( It was on the Canadian Sephora website). Can't wait to see it in person!
Agree with your opinion of the Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue. It looked really bad on my forehead and between the eyebrows. It gave me texture I didn’t have. My skin looks better without anything on, than with that foundation.
Me too I'm almost 60! My skin looks much better without foundation! I use my Alastin tinted sunscreen after my skincare, apply bronzer, blush and a little highlight then use a setting spray and I'm set. The best part for me is letting my freckles show lol. I detest that heavy feeling of foundation on my face. Certain ones break me out badly and make me look way older than I am, not a good look at all lol. Enjoy the rest of your summer everyone!
I love those Elf concealers too ,but don't like the Camos. I was smiling so big when you said in New York. I'm happy for you. I live in Kansas where everything is flat so I can't imagine living in a city. I'm so excited for you!! 🥰😊
Oh, I love the brightening concealer from ELF! It sort of reminds me of that popular YSL under-eye corrector that's also in the clicky packaging. I usually wear this concealer if I'm having a no-foundation day and it does a decent job hiding my dar under eye circles. I have to say, I didn't expect to like it as much as I do!
I was disappointed with the ELF flawless brightening concealer at first because the coverage is SO light that I couldn’t use it for my under eyes, but you are right, it does work really well for brightening.
I have never tried the Bare Minerals complexion rescue, but I feel that way about the It Cosmetics cc+ and so many people rave about it. The best deodorant I have ever tried is from Canada called Glowing Orchid Organics. I will pay for the postage and buy enough for a year or two. Love your lighting and background!
Finally someone else who doesn’t stan the camo concealer. I have the “hydrating” formula and I’m trying so hard to use it all up so I can buy something functional to replace it 🥺🥲
I bought the blonzer. I did not like it, but guess what...every time I put on blush I top it with the pink. I love it now. I also have the rose one because it gives me a good sun burned look. I put it all over the dang place. Nose, cheeks, forehead a little. I think it is a great summer blush.
I had the same experience with the Kopari, that one and the Kosas deodorant awful. I went back to native. I also love the elf click pen concealer, love how lightweight those are. Love all of the things you have been adding to the background 🤍🥰
I love the Ursa Major Base Deodorant. It's expensive (like $18) but it doesn't have baking soda in it which I'm allergic to, so I'm willing to pay the price. I also don't have to reapply throughout the day unless it's an exceptionally hot day.
I've gone through 2 tubes of the Bare Minerals and I totally agree with you. Some days its great and others it's a thick cakey mess (especially around the nose). I think the best use for it is no-makeup makeup days where you apply a small amount just to even the skin out, then it seems to work out OK... but I think for the $30+ price tag it could be better.
The bare minerals complexion rescue pilled so bad when I tried it a few years ago. I tried different moisturizers underneath but it still did it. I wish it had worked for me!
Kelly, you look so gorgeous, your makeup is beautiful, the background has the perfect lighting and that hair!!!! Please do a tutorial on the hair, I love it 💕💕
Hello Kelly! I hope you're doing great in NYC! I've been following your chanel for a couple of years now and I've come across it with the videos about cruelty free makeup and I would love you to make a video of an update of the brands that will fall into the cruelty free category with the new law in China and maybe the products you would like to test from them. If you don't have any idea for a future video, that one would interest me for sure! Lots of kisses from Belgium!
I bought Complexion Rescue back when it very first launched, and have been wearing it off and on ever since. I thought it was my holy grail for my dry skin, but I recently decided that I actually hate it! I find it sits/ breaks up in a weird way on my skin, dries down super dark, and I think it was really making me break out! I switched to the Glossier Skin tint and I am so happy!
It didn’t break me out but I had the same experience with it drying down dark and breaking up, and I don’t have oily skin so I was confused 😫 so expensive, but I ended up using the whole thing by mixing it with other foundations
Wait! You moved to NYC??? So much closer to where I live in the Hudson valley. So cool. Congratulations! Just be smart and be safe girl! It's a big city but beautiful ❤️ and exciting at the same time.
You look extra beautiful today. NY looks good on you. 💜 I haven’t tried the Kopari deodorant, but I use Native and I LOVE IT!!!!! The Cucumber mint scent works perfectly with my body.
Isn’t it amazing how different people’s responses are to products? One of my top negative ratings to a product so many people gush over is the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind in any shade. It does absolutely nothing for me.
I would love influencers to do reviews following their initial ones from their future selves -- knowing what they do after using the product as part of their collections, can I see myself decluttering this? I know that influencers are not beyond the hype of marketing, getting on the bandwagon, and or being the first with a review - it's human nature. Would just be an interesting lens on a product.
I really like your background! I love your recommendations because I'm also on the same bandwagon as you that makeup that works great for everyone and doesn't for me. What do you recommend for full coverage concealer?!
Loving your background! Also, your hair looks so cute like this. 🙂 That's too bad about the complexion rescue - I actually really enjoy it (for my dry skin)! But obviously things work different for different people/skin types, etc. I won't be buying it but the blonzer is super intriguing! I love a sunburnt blush look.
I have at least two Ana Luisa rings (braided and twist) and they did unfortunately fade pretty fast. Which is a bummer because I loved them and they aren’t cheap. They were gold tone, now they are kinda silverish with a hint of copper too. ETA: I haven’t found a natural deodorant that works for me. My skin doesn’t seem to like the essential oils and it causes me a burn like rash.
I have the Bare Minerals Blonzer in Kiss of Copper (I’m a neutral blush kind of gal), and the color is stunning but I am having a difficult time finding a brush that works well with the formula! :(
People get so.hung.up on the blonzer being a bronzer and blush, that they dislike it because it doesn’t “bronze.” I think it’s the marketing that did them wrong.
I completely agree!
I agree. I only use it as a blush, and it’s perfect.
loving this background, all the extra little touches are so cute, like the pink vases! which camera lens do you use? loveee the blurry background 🤤
Canon 50mm 1.8 :)
It's so helpful to hear what does and doesn't work for different folks. I never expect a product to work for EVERYBODY.
i was so tempted to the blonzer last week cause of you!! but i might have to go back and get it now that you say it's limited o.o
This is my favourite background and lighting so far!
Thank you, Alyson :)
Ugh I love complexion rescue! I put it on with my fingers and then blend it in with a beauty sponge. Looks so natural and makes my skin look perfected. I’ve been using it for 5 years.
Hey, I love this set up and lighting and also your hair looks even more gorgeous than always

I’m so happy that you love it!!
The elf brightening concealer reminds me of YSL Touché Eclat.
UGH it was so adorable when you got excited about saying “here in New York”. I’m SO happy for you!!! ❤️
Thank you so much!!
Target has a new natural deodorant that's 4.99 called hey human it's probably the best deodorant beside native . I worked 10 hour days through a 115 degree heat wave and didn't smell at all.
I love Hey human.
Their banana aloe body wash is my new fave!! I'll have to try out the deodorant
@@melrose985 that is the scent I use in the deodorant. I tried the body wash and found that it was nice hated pkg
@@katrinahamilton933 well if they have it in deodorant, I definitely need it! Yes I agree the packaging of the body wash is not my favorite
Ooo might have to pick that deodorant up. Just finished mine and looking to try something different than Schmidt.
I agree Kelly! I hated the Kopari deodorant. I use Native in the winter and Little Seeds Farm Cream Deodorant in the summer. I love the Blonzer. I have the same shade. And finally. I didn’t like the Elf CC foundation either!!!
I love the background, I think it looks perfect!
Yay, thank you!
I totally agree about Complexion Rescue! It accentuates pores and is dry on the surface of my skin.
Awww thank you!!
I've enjoyed all your post-NY backgrounds, but this is definitely my favorite! Except that I need to see more of what that coppery figure is! It looks like a bird?
It is a bird :)

Agreeing with all the love for your background. It's so dainty & pretty! It suits you🥰
Thank you!
You look so beautiful with your hair like this! It looks like you’re at the beach!
Thank you!
I just have to throw this out there... that Sigma Rosy palette looks STUNNING on you. It really compliments your complexion and eye color beautifully.
Love the wavy hair
Thank you!
the way i don't even buy makeup anymore but i love your videos especially since they are more from a minimalist eye
I love that Elf pen too!
I’m obsessed with the bareminerals bronzer too! Love kiss of pink
Yesss! It's so good!
Your hair looks so pretty like this!

I love the e BM blonzer also. I have the same shade and it’s so pretty on my light medium skin tone i. It enhances my complexion with a natural fresh flush. I don’t understand why people don’t like it.

I mix the bare minerals complexion rescue with the Dior backstage foundation, and it is LITERALLY FLAWLESS
Same with the Kopari!! Shocked how popular it is. It makes me very skeptical to try other popular ones.
Girl I don't even like pink and I love those vases. And I sing the praises of that ELF concealer all over makeup subreddits, hoping to spread my love for it lol.
New York agrees with you Kelly, you look even more beautiful than usual. Hair is really pretty like that.
That’s so interesting, I basically use complexion rescue as a moisturizer or primer on days I don’t wear makeup because it has no pigment for me but I love that it just keeps my skin hydrated and flowy

Concealers like the elf are good if you have a face shade concealer with coverage and then have the elf for highlighting/fixing only

I love the Blonzer! I have Kiss of Rose and I am so glad I broke my blush “no buy” to purchase it during the Sephora VIB sale.
LIMITED EDITION? Brb buying all of the blonzers
Love the setup here. It‘s so cozy and ‚homey‘🥰

I love Ana Luisa! I wear their bracelet and earrings every day and I'm considering getting their diamond necklace. X
You’re hair is so pretty! Would love to see a styling video :)
The lighting/setup in this video is perfection! 💓

Hi Kelly 👋
Yessss when you said "here in NY" I was so excited and happy for you 🎉
I love Ana Luisa jewelry! I have a few pairs of their earrings (including my namesake earrings Elise which are my favorite), I want that twist ring!
I bought Complexion Rescue back when it very first launched, and have been wearing it off and on ever since. I think people’s main issue is the packaging with the Bite. I’ve heard so many people saying it is really, really difficult to get the product out.

I thought the blonzer bad reviews were on one particular shade only (but I don’t remember which one). I like the bite day cation blush.
The background is so pretty, congrats on the move so happy for you!❤
