The Euros was a solid statement we cannot rely on Rice as a lone 6. Not to downplay his incredible skills. I think if we allow Partey to exit with the hope to rely on Rice, it wont work out. I’m not concerned at all that we’ve had no signings yet. Edu said in May at the end of the 2023/24 season that that it will take time to do signings this summer so fans should have patience I’m therefore quite relaxed and happy to wait for Edu and Mikel to do what’s needed to deliver at the appropriate time

The reality is if we as Arsenal fan's read between the lines Arteta may have a shortlist of transfer targets 95% of them the club will never get him or struggle to get these deals over the line. So what will happen is they will source out cheap opportunistic alternatives for him he never asked for and just expect him to manage/coach them into winning cups this is the same roundabout at Arsenal every year. The Euros was a solid statement we cannot rely on Rice as a lone 6. Not to downplay his incredible skills. I think if we allow Partey to exit with the hope to rely on Rice, it wont work out. We need more options on the left side midfield in addition to Partey. Lots of games and squared depth will pay of huge for us.
