I was 6 years old at that time. By the time I teenager I fell in love with their music every sense. Two blue-eyed handsome tall men what voice of an Angel. I wonder whose listen to the music like today in 2023. Bobby Hatfield you will always remain in our hearts. Going to soon but never forgotten Rest in paradise 🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️❤️

We are so grateful we can hear them today as we did when they and we were young. They were among the greatest singly or together. Bobby has some wonderful singles like Somewhere, He, My prayer, and together You’ll never walk alone, Soul and Inspiration, Dream on and Bring it on home to me (Bobby has Bill smiling), There is more and all terrific. And it is 2024, they are still great.

@doloresschultz8393 , I have to respectfully disagree. Some of the songs sound so much better with Bills Voice as well. Bill was/is amazing in his own right. I am not downing Bobby in anyway, seperately they were amazing, but, the sound they created together placed them in a whole nother league.

True Bobby Hatfield was the tenor voice and Bill Melody was the baritone voice they shouldn't have blended together but they did and it was pure magic. This is one of the greatest duo's in all time

I grew up from little 4 year old kid to my first year as a teenager from 60-69 so I sort of grew up as sorts in this amazing decade of the 1960s. Before Hall & Oates there was Medley & Hatfeild . 60s Blue Eyed Soul.

I grew up (born in 1955) with an older sister who attended the Beatles concert at the Hollywood Bowl...she exposed me to so many riches in the incredible world of '60's music... I really don't know how to express to my kids or grand kids what the music of that era meant and still means.. The Righteous Brothers..... listening to them (again and again) brings me to my knees in gratitude for their talent. I only hope that each of them, in this world or the next, know how much they are valued.

They had three big hits in this vein, You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin', You're My Soul and Inspiration, and this one, Just Once In My Life. Lovin' Feelin' at one time was the most-played single in the history of radio and is undoubtedly their biggest hit. But it can't stand up to this one in my opinion. When Bill says "Just do this for me!" and Bobby screams "BABY"!!! that's the end of it right there as far as I'm concerned.

    There's a lot of things I want
A lot of things that I'd like to be
But girl I don't forsee a rags to riches story for me
It's just one little thing I got to make come true
It's just one round I've got to win
    I can't be a loser with you
Baby baby just once in my life
I'm gonna get what I want girl don't let me down
Just once in my life let me hold on to
The good thing I found don't let me down
Baby say that you'd be staying
Cause I couldn't face the day if you weren't here by my side
And if you went away then I'd be left without any pride
I've given up on schemes cause everyone fell through
I've given up so many things don't ask me to give up on you
And baby, baby just once in my life
I'm gonna get what I want girl don't let me down
    Just once in my life
Let me hold on to the good thing I found don't let me down
Baby say that you'd be staying
That old pot of gold ain't so easy to find
But if you'll stand by me
Girl I'll keep peace of mind
I can't give you the world
But I'll work hard for you girl
I'll work hard, everyday, all my life
If you'll say you won't leave me
    Baby don't leave me
    Please don't leave me
    Baby don't leave me
Just do this for me baby

da fühlt sich bei seinem.....Baby.... am Anfang, jede Frau angesprochen
    und ist verzückt.❤❤❤❤❤❤

This has GOT to be a clip from ABC-TV's "Shindig".
A show long on legend but short on it's original run.

SHINDIG!!! My favorite show! Loved all the great talent and the dancers!
I wasn't allowed to go to the Friday night dances in high school, but I learned to dance by watching the girls on Shindig. My senior year we had dances during lunch hour and one of my guy pals asked me to dance to Little Latin Lupe Lou. Boy! Everyone was surprised at all my Shindig moves! That was 1965 and 20 years later at the high school reunion everyone still remembered shy little Anna dancing in the middle of the of the dance floor. Lol! Great music and great memories!

Neither one had a great voice, but together they were magic. Their harmonies were great.

What are you talking about???? Bobby Hatfield's 4-octave vocal range is acknowledged and celebrated among musicians, vocalists, vocal coaches, critics and of course, the listeners (except for you, apparently) world-wide. I'm not sure if you're tone deaf or your musical taste resides in your posterior - but you are dead wrong (not a matter of opinion).
