Pokke plz read this "The game only gets pay-to-win if you players keep spending money on broken characters instead of refusing to support those practices" compare this to your tweet, isnt the almost the same point? you acknowlge powercreep but you s solely blame the player for it in that tweet, it shift the responsibility entirely to the audience. It will 100% trigger most of the player base and you will be seen as a somone who is ignoring the role of the creator in fostering such dynamics. If you worded it like this: "hsr has a powercreep problem cuz both the creators introduce it, either through greed or poor design, and you players enable it by being greedy or accepting it" it would have been more fine. To give you an ego check(prove me wrong, 74 h none has proven me wrong) and change your mind is that there is nothing there to change your mind you simply accepted powercreep, but I didn't, its like you pokke misleading players to pull characters they dont want( to help them clear end game content now and the future) but why is it their fault they are strugling in moc cuz they pulled a diffrent character, whats is stupid or greedy if want to change your team and try another team to stop playing with old same team etc, "oh you have follow-up team and break team keep pulling for their team support or make the old units support stonger by gettin eidolan" oh you used pulls for kafka=studpid or greed. Why is it stupid to get kafka, swan, argenti or dhil now? and why is it smarter to get robin now? its just plain old powercreep, you can see that out of the all of the old charcters( all before sunday and fuge) there is only 2 you should be pulling for RM and robin, why is that the case? lingsha/feixiao/rappa are still good but how this game keep the powercreep fast they will 100% get replaced by another in notime. As for my own experience I'm f2p with a Fexiao with lc, Robin, March 7th, and Aventurine team, hitting 250k max damage on Svarog in MOC 12, and barely making a dent in his HP. Does that mean I'm enabling powercreep by not pulling for new characters, or is it just a symptom of how fast powercreep is progressing? they made the moc easier by totters but didn't avoid powercreep. Players being greedy or "stupid" are not at fault at powercreep it is solely the game and its team cuz they simply want more money and in this game it is happing fast which is a big issue end of story, your tweet almost made it seems like you are justifying powercreep change my mind lol
A Feixiao with LC hitting 250K max with robin. I'm hitting the same numbers you are without robin and LC. Are you investing in your teams at all or understand your characters kits?

Even with the HP inflation and powercreep I still rely on Kafka, Black Swan to clear endgame content. My pull luck has been on the average side with the same number of losses and wins btw.
Honestly, my personal opinion is that i am enjoying this powercreep. For the past few patches, i was just playing all end game content on auto, but now, i need to try out different builds and teams to see which works and which doesn't because auto no longer works. I am the type of guy MrPokke is referring to (a light spender buying only monthly pass), carefully planning my pulls. My account will save at least a 100 pulls in any situation, just in case a future unit turns about to be strong, or i lose my 50/50. I have enough to invest in selective DPS on my account, e.g acheron e2 w lc, firefly e2 w/o her lc, robin e1 w/o her lc etc. This powercreep gives me the sense of actually playing the game now, feeling the minor sense of achievement for all the right investment i have made using the limited resources i have. Is the game truly fun if you don't feel challenged by it? Of course, i understand it feels shitty to invest money on a character, only for it to fall off due to powercreep. I get it, that's how i felt with my silverwolf and blade. But what's done is done, we all know this is coming, nothing can last forever, not even the current meta. Something will always replace what you have, this does not just apply for gacha games, it's how life works as well. Either you move with them, or get left behind, that's how reality is.
At the end of the day, I feel this whole situation/discussion will be for naught. These are the same people who will spend money and show off(or promote) current and future banners. If you want to blame a company that is fine but you shouldn't be reinvesting(clarification: by partnering with them or giving them money) back into the company if you hate or dislike it's practices. So yes, mr.pokke is right because no one has yet to prove they actually want to change the the outcome of how HSR is currently. Prove me wrong.
