Hi! I'm SpoonTy, the previous WR holder for the SSG Peaceful category. My world just got turned upside down. When I ran the category, I was the only crazy guy who tried beating the game with these unstable seeds and it took me days and a lot of dedication to complete ONE run. When Nikocraft appeared and posted the new WR, I really thought it was leggit, congratulated him for the exceptional (and extremely lucky) run. It was so lucky and exceptional that it was suicidal to even THINK about beating his time, so nobody really tried to beat his WR for a very long time, and I totally gave up this painful yet fun category. Knowing that he cheated, it feels weird. When I posted my WR back then, it didn't last for very long until it was beaten and his video exploded while I was already excluded from the history of this category. That's how it is with speedrunning sometimes, but somehow I feel a bit robbed today. Congratulations to everyone who figured out the truth, and thank you for making this video. My honor is restored!
Hey I know this comment might not mean a whole lot coming from someone who only watches these cheaters get caught but I really hope you get the recognition you deserve!
That sucks. You deserved the recognition and attention from having the number one spot for longer, but you got that stolen from you by a cheater. I’m sorry that happened to you, as I would feel like I got robbed as well if that happened to me.
thats pretty much what happened to a bunch of geometry dash players recently too. someone named spaceuk was outed for cheating recently and hes been the number one player for so long. the amount of first victor and number one player titles he stole was insane, causing players that felt like they were always in his shadow to quit as well. it really is sad to see all the clout and respect that gets ripped away from legit players being overlooked due to cheaters.

Using a graphing calculator, we can input the function binompdf(70,1/3,70), which gives a probability of around 0.000000000000000000000000000000000399495756456201, or about 1 in 2,503,155,502,858,458,400,000,000,000,000,000 (over 2-and-a-half decillion).

If I had a nickel for witnessing a gamer get exposed for cheating this year, I'd have two, which isn't a lot but it's weird since it's happened twice.
I can understand the rationale for why one might not want to make the evidence public but the fact that that is a possibility honestly disturbs me and makes me unable to sleep at night.... yes that is weird lol
Honestly being new to Minecraft and all seeing these videos confuse me. How the mods find out about the small things also amazes me.
this is not geometry dash spaceuk!
Lol, I was waiting for you to record this video since yesterday lol.

Ooh this must be the one on SpaceUK
Love the music choice
Hans Niemann: *Finally, a worthy opponent!*
spaceuk: *don't mind me*
>one guy makes a vid right away
>another guy makes the same vid about 4 hours after the first guy
>and then THE Weekly thing! makes a PREMIERed video
the fd up thing about these fakers is that getting exposed doesn’t really hurt them that much.. they’ve already gotten the views, praise & money anyway
Unforunately this expose doesnt affect the cheater so much this time around since he hasnt been active in the community since the "2nd world record" run.
Plot twist: They are all fakes. Literally everyone is cheating. They just haven't been caught yet. 😏
SpaceUK
nikoUK confirmed
thanks for telling me what moderators are looking for
Yoo, the monthly thing finally upload
I swear Minecraft players could solve all the world's problems if they wanted too
9:20 if you use actual statistics the number is different but you can absolutely come to the same conclusion;
View this as a binomial; a trial is a success if the hunger bar does not move, and a failure if it does move.
70 trials (7 iterations of 10 hunger bars) with all of them being successful.
Now this is another SpaceUk Situation
first video, and i watched to the end, subbed too. I would lve to see more content abut cheating and speedruninng
7:14 You can see the mouse cursor move a bit. Is this further evidence?
i thought he said the main timer was on a different monitor? which would mean it wouldn’t necessarily fade with the game footage
there exists a mod called apple skin that allows you to see their saturation easily and with a lot more detail. to my knowledge it doesn't change the gameplay so they could use that.
What a clever way to debunk cheaters
These speed runners need to go outside they doing way too much lmao
For as much as we all hate cheaters, without them we wouldn’t have this entertaining cheaters exposed subgenre on TH-cam
We need a speedrum faking competition
What's sad about this is that if he didn't get greedy for a second WR time, he could've gotten away with it.
Speaking of saturation, someone once told me my name was wrong because I didn't spell "saturation" correctly... I got a good laugh out of that one
There is however a feature, where if you punch a mob and then run your hunger bar will not go down
And he'd have gotten away with it if it wasn't for you meddling kids!
If I were a speedrunner I think I’d do all my stuff legit, *except* for one single random run which I’d fake in the most excruciating detail, not to take a world record but just to see how long it’d take for someone to catch me, if ever. I wonder if anyone’s already done this…
I’m just sad that some of these great runs were truly faked and their perpetrators managed to get away with it for years.
It’s crazy that this happened right around the SpaceUK situation.
april does wonders
Bro thinks he's SpaceUK
I'd say he fooled me for so long but...
honestly, the only way I keep up with speedruns is through The Weekly Thing
Almost wanna just take every speed run with a grain of salt
What if the saturation got reset?
I hear Lemino music. I like.
what i sthe intro song? - can you link it in the reply if you find it :D
