TRC makes some of the best knives on the planet. My favorites: Apocalypse, Mille Cuori and Speed Demon. Then we have Fällkniven with its xb series (A1xb) 👍
I like both of them, trc has a better steel than the regular F1. Trc has also got a better finish and handle material. But the knives are quite different on the grind, for general purposes trc is better, expecially for food. For wood carving, wood processing, batoning instead the convex grind is a better choice. The F1x is thicker then the classic F1, so it's more robust but also thicker on the bevel, which means is worse for slicing, expecially for food. One thing I would consider is to put two custom micarta scales on the F1 x, to improve the handle. A better sheat would be a good thing too. Considering this thing, trc is a better choice, because the knife is expensive, but is perfect the way it is, while the fallkniven F1 X is expensive, but with rubber scales on the handle and a bad sheat. That said both are great knife, also the regular F1, which is a little bit cheaper, and has the option for a nice leather sheat
I have the K1 too, and for me in thinning the knife collection, it is in the keep pile
I’m so glad to see the knife has held up for 10ths! I bought an Apocalypse a few years ago and it’s still going strong! Love your channel! God bless!
Thanks Tim!!! Trc is a great brand!! Top choice, i also love the apocalypse!!

How do you like the K1 vs the Fallkniven F1? I just ordered the F1X in elmax.
