The cheaper option for the trans could be done at home by doing a vr30 swap that way you handle more torque without running issues with the stock automatic
i have a 2013 nissan 370z and im having problems w high fuel pressure its supposed to sit in 4.1 to maybe 4.3 max BAR then maybe drop to 3.50 BAR when hard pull.. I'm having problems with fuel pressure being 7.7 to 7.9 BAR im not sure why.. i assumed regulator that's built into the fuel module house took a crap so i replaced it twice and still same issue so it cant be the fuel pump or modulating assembly either any ideas??
I have a 2012 G37xs. After looking at this video, I'm so confused about the gallery gaskets. I was told that after 2012, infiniti started to upgrade it to a better one, but you said that it can happen up to 2015. I'm at 65k. Should I upgrade my gallery gaskets or wait 😢
My 7AT went out at 45k miles... I'm on my second one.. main thing I hate is when it heats up - it has this "flare" issue where from 3rd to 4th ONLY on partial throttle acceleration - it kind of JUMPS in RPMS, then drops down once 4th is fully engaged. It did this on the original transmission... only in auto mode.. highly annoying and it's inconsistent, so some days it's fine, other days it's not. Only happens during the summer when it's hot out. I want to go VR transmission with cooling before anything else- I found a company in texas that does the entire swap with a custom cross member for support - do you all do this as well? Do you have a VR swap video?
Both kits are great! It will just depend on what type of kit you want for your overall end goal. Our kit will come with the vortech supercharger head unit and cog rear belt setup, while the z1 will come with the rotrex head unit and the serpentine belt setup. If you have any additional questions, we would be more than happy to answer them for you so that you can make the best decision for you vehcile.
@@SOHOMotorsports I heard the cog setup was better and makes more power i would like yours and it also looks better in the bay but does yours come with everything like z1s ? Like the return system, fuel pump hardwire kit, fuel tank o ring and everything I will need to just throw it on and tune thanks for responding
@VQVaughn depending on your horsepowr goals, a fuel return system will not be needed unless you are going E85. The kit that we offer will come with everything needed to run it on pump gas, and we can also provide tuning! If any additional items are needed we can assist with that as well. 🫡
@@SOHOMotorsports oh okay didn’t know that thanks so I only Need the return system if I’m on e85 does the return system help with any power or is it just to specifically run ethanol
The issue is present with the gallery gaskets from 08-13, and the hardware issue with bolts backing out remained in 14. The 15+ models had all the fixes from Nissan to combat the failures they were seeing. When in doubt, buy 15+.
CJM Fuel Return: 1,250
525lph Pump: 150

Wow that's ridiculously expensive

So it still has the stock headers? Hfc and still hit 600hp that's pretty cool
Do you perform turbo installations on the VQ37-powered Q50?
How much did it run him to get all that??
A lot

Would a vr automatic transmission work with 3.5vq de? Will eventually run a procharger supercharger and on 91 pump gas because California😅.
Unfortunately we have not tested that combo to see if it will work at this time
Could you guys record 0 100 and 100 200 videos please ?

@@VQVaughn specifically for when running e85 as more volume is needed for that fuel
I have a 25 row cooler, would that provide enough cooling for a boosted setup?
depending on your location and how hot it gets, the 25 row should be enough.
Thank for watching!
Can a boosted VQ35DE run reliably like it is from factory for hundreds of thousands of miles?
Probably if you kept boost really low and didn’t constantly beat it or put trash fuel in it
Are you sure that 2015 models need gallery gaskets checked?
I’d check all gallery gaskets when boosting a vq.. well vhr at least
Always first to go or one of the first things
The main issue we see with the 2015s is the hardware that holds the gallery gaskets get loose over time and thus can lead to oil pressure loss
