That was so interesting. I have never seen anyone do jujitsu like that. It was incredibly dominant, I have never seen people stand back up out of positions while maintaining control it seems really efficient and seems to make transitioning much easier because your just moving your footing rather than having to snake your whole body on the floor. Kinda tragic I didn’t get to see more. But thanks for sharing.
Are you going to enter other grappling tournaments like catch and mixed
imagine for the last 6 months youve been grinding your ass off, PRing in the gym, learning new escapes and submissions, conditioning your body and running 5+ miles and then some guy comes in and stiff arms your head in the ground for 5 minutes
Imagine going to your average local tournament and getting matched up with a UFC fighter. Absolute nightmare fuel 😆
For reals! At our NAGA tournament I got matched with a former NFL linebacker who was purple belt with some MMA training.
But it was a great experience cause you don’t get the opportunity to face somebody of that athletic caliber too often.
Facing a UFC fighter would be an interesting experience.
@@ChinoV man that gave me flashbacks to the D1 offensive lineman I used to roll with at my first gym. Super high level athletes hit different 😂
@@CaPnBaLlBaG 🤕 Ouch! D1 Lineman ☠️ My neck and back started hurting when I read that. There’s a reason why there are weight classes 😂🤣😂
so you get to fight with a UFC fighter just by casually joining a local tournament? that sounds like a pretty good deal to me!
Pick one to do what?....To clear out the Buffett, that's Biggie, To get rich or die trying, that's 50. To cruise around the dirty skreets of New Orleans with, That's Weezy. To smoke a pound with, That's Snewp. ...What are we choosing one for?
This is some demoralizing bjj. So chill and so dominate
1st guy was rather goofy and unathletic 😆
@@TheSakufighter steroids doesn't solve ALL your problems :D
@@_danielmcg tf u mean steroids
@_danielmcg you think I'm on steroids? That is the best compliment I've ever gotten 😂
The neck and body cranks, stiff arms, heavy knees. This really tests your opponents pains tolerance. Im super fascinated by this style now
Needed neck surgery watching that second match
Thats what i thought to. As a guy who has trained for years and has neck problems this pained me to watch at times. You don't need to crank the neck in semi mount in order to maintain control. Much like you don't need to stiff arm a head into the ground. All is fair in competition, but I feel bad for his regular training partners necks.

I didn’t think I’d see you here
With your upright stance, Uchi-mata, tai-otoshi , lack of specialised guards and top pressure, I'd say your Jiu Jitsu style is No-gi Judo....
Yes there is a lot in common with Judo. I do use specialized guards tho but only if you can force me to play bottom.
Saying “yeah, ride that…stretch em” while watching a man mount another man is insane

The murder choke is probably just hard to tell apart from a trachea grab, which is why its illegal.
Annoying
@@coachkajanit would also be annoying if someone done a trachea grab to you and lied and said it was a murder choke so they got the win, got to try make it fair for everyone somehow
a fighting style that just never stops inventing rules. Pretty much, if you start winning at BJJ, someone will cry that your moves were illegal.
@@Johnny1angry1Johnny I couldn’t agree more
Not naming it murder choke might of helped
Wow this was insanely impressive. Kajan innovation..
Lmao you are hilarious, my fav grappling fighting channel. All the other shit is boring.
Thanks man.
This is the best mix of bjj, judo, and Midwest USA wrestling I have seen yet. This is how grappling should look. Top control, heavy head pressure and never accept going to guard always sweep and wrestle up. Great stuff.
It's so wierd, sometimes it looks like you're intentionally trying to avoid putting any pressure on them, the way someone might do when rolling with a smaller or newer person ... like at points you're hardly even making contact with them but still have so much control... what is this black magic...?...?... definitely a strange style, I love it!
Haha it’s not black magic, god told me to do it.
What are you talking about, he's yanking on their heads like his life depended on it. At one point I thought he was trying to crush the guy's skull with his weight.
@@MrCmon113 🥱
I believe their are unspoken rules in grappling ,I think it's based on moral and ethics as opposed to engaging in tactics that "get the job done " .Example it's ok to sit on my opponent and achieve full mount but it might be deemed disrespectful if I stand on him or use the blade of foot like a kick and try to crush his wind pipe to get the choke another one is while in full mount can you take your chin and stick in their eye socket 🤷.What's allowed and what's not allowed can vary based on each individual mind set also the gym they train at i guess. Is their a line to be drawn on what techniques can be done at the gym and at a tournaments or should would it be case where everything is allowed I mean I can grab my opponent hand but am not allowed to grab his balls 🤷 it's still a legit body part .Am just a white belt expressing curiosity.
The only unspoken rules that must be observed are the ones put here by god. The only man made rules that should be obeyed are the ones that are written clearly for all to see. The nature of combat is to use everything you have at your disposal to keep yourself safe. The easiest way to make sure I am safe is to destroy my opponent.
i like your style bro!
👊🏽🙏🏽
I like your style brother!
I also like how you put pressure on the head and face. That second match looked really uncomfortable for your opponent.
I know nothing about BJJ other than watching it, but if someone was cranking that heavy down on my head and face, I think it would really hamper my ability to think about what I'm doing.
bro what a sick style! I have a similar body type I would love to come train with Coach Kajan one day
Come through brotha!
What is this face post you be doing to that 2nd dude? I'm seeing chin straps, and some really unique head control, I guess that's what id call it.
Plus you stand straight up, that's crazy, Ive never seen someone grapple the way you do here. Cant wait for NoGi season, dammit.
Oh well.
Congrats bro
Isn’t every season nogi season?

Rad thanks man. I’m no god tho.
They were bigger than you. When you had that guy's back, the first one. Why did you stand up to ride his back instead of the typical, staying glued to them.
I really like your style. Thanks for sharing.
Just makes more sense to me to do it like this. After a really bad neck injury I adjusted my grappling to fit new theories.
@tristargymwestcoast I've watched it a few times. Can you break it down, please, coach? Maybe narrate it. Thanks
@@London2ATL I’m gonna break it down but only in my community not on TH-cam.
@tristargymwestcoast OK, bro. Thanks
The backstep into the S mount during the second match was sick!
Thanks man
I’ve been practicing wrestling and when I go compete I was wondering if I could go ahead and take them down before they pull guard and then get my 2 points and… if I let them stand back up and then take them down again could I just keep doing that until they refuse to stand up to rack up points and use my wrestling to my advantage or would they get mad and tell me to stop point hunting and just go for it? 😂
Ya man do anything that is legal within the rules to win
Pulled rib muscle is no joke. Surprised you fought again after it popped.
Omg the second fight was even crazier
I didnt know that choke wasnt allowed but maybe it differs from place to place
But Ive heard someone refer to it as the throat crusher before I think which I thought was funny
In the first match - what’s preventing the guy from granby rolling out of turtle given that you don’t directly apply pressure on his hips?
He may be able to roll but it won’t really get him anywhere.
I was calling for the same. Better than just being in no man’s land. I think the guy was just stunned and unable to think lol
Do you have a tutorial or an instructional on why and how you use this post on the opponent's head ?
We will release it in my community soon. Get in now before it’s too late.
Awesome matches. Great clickbait title haha it got me. Came to see weird stuff, stayed for good jiu jitsu. Awesome to see nice smooth technique control a more explosive and aggressive opponent. Great positional control. And you made the right decision tapping. Tap today train tomorrow. Better than getting something serious that’s gonna set you back long term.
Haha ya shout outs to my partner Alec for the 🔥 title and thumbnail!
That was sick, I’m trying this ASAP 🔥
You could tap either of them within the first 30 seconds. That's just bullying 😂😂
Not true. The pressure created the opportunity for submission
@@coachkajanyour movement is super slick! Way above that of the opponents 😅
How's the rib? Hope it heals fully. Usually 16 weeks recovefy 😢
How come they didn't raise your hand on the second match. It was total domination!
Great style, tho. Ruthlessly technical. Smashing that head to the ground. And yes, murder choke illegal makes no sense. Somehow using your belt to choke in gi jujitsu is legal... Go figure...
I had to stop because my rib popped again.
Nice, was second guy a white belt?
That was a very nice trip. Like how you bait the single legs in both matches

After watching, I have gained a lot. Thank you for showing your style. This was very interesting to watch. I'm gonna most definitely look into that course.
Like what would someone to do to stop your style?
Do the opposite of what I’m doing
I felt that rib injury! I have 4. Hope you heal soon.
err on the side of not killing people accidentally because not being able to tell the difference between pressure and squeezing. I'm for it.
I don't know what to call this weird stand up method you are using, very amazing top control.
Statue stance is what I’m doing while standing
I didnt know it was in fact illegal to choke someone in a wholly inefficient way.
depends on the ruleset, always check, sometimes 1 hand is ok sometimes 2 isn't, really depends on the rules
@badxradxandy I can kinda get 2 hands, but I'm allowed to mush their face so why can't I basically do the same to your neck. I know different rules and all but in adult competition? Bjj has a lot of silly rules.
I dont know much about jiu jitsu. What is unique about his approach?
all the hand shoving and trying to tap from uncomfortableness and neck cranks while having full dominant control and just being a hinderance to the guy and tiring him out instead of getting in dominant positions to get submissions.
Good observations but it’s much more about the hierarchy of positions I use.
@@benjisuavesounds like catch except it’s submission from any position.
Wow absolute domination..it does not feel good being dominated like that lol. Very humbling I would imagine for them dudes..I mean…I’ve been dominated like that but I never was that good 😆
-what were you looking for in the second fight? It seemed like there were many arm bar and choke opportunities available (granted, armchair coaching), just interested in what your strategy to submit was.
Just looking for the right one
Your “weird” bjj looks like catch with less wrestling. So you’re doing it right. Whatever it is it looks effective.
Cacc is awesome
@@coachkajan yeah man I train in it. You should come to San Antonio at combat city catch wrestling! Just to stop by and train.
why everyone is so calm and controlling ? nobody exploded or did the white belt spazy thing to escape
Cuz they’re not white belts. First guy has like 100 matches or something on smooth comp so he’s gonna be calm under fire.
Straight up fighting principles I love these matches. You control the head you control a whole lot.
Wow!!! What a tough style
Very weird style for sure! A lot of head pressure and a lot of straight arm resting your whole weight on your opponent’s limbs. I loved watching it! Not sure how I’m gonna practice the face posts and chin straps in sparring without making everyone hate me but I loved this style! I could imagine how awful and tiring it would be to get pressured like that 😂😂 looked very effortless and your opponents all looked very tired at the end haha! Amazing!
They’ll only hate you until they learn from you
Very cool matches to watch though as someone who loves throws there were so many times where I was just thinking "take him for a ride".
Brother, the control you had was beautiful. Thank you for the video, learned alot.
wtf did I just watch. super sick nice job
This was highly educational and entertaining as well. Skillful display. Well done. 💪
👊🏽🙏🏽
That belly-down arm bar finish in the first match is really cool. I usually sit back and try to finish it. I feel like you get some extra hip power and control with the way you finished it. Defintely gotta try it.
JT Torres does that armbar from mount. I started using it a lot more because it feels stronger and I don't have to give up top position to get it.
Man you’re fun to watch!
Great head control. I’m sure it frustrated your opponents.
This just gave me black belt who thinks like a white belt vibes and I love it.
cool style
"we shouldnt pull guard to keep the integrity of bjj"

Failed throw not guard pull
I really dig your style.
Beautiful I like the way you’re calm and confident not rushing….as a brown belt, I’m just now learning to control myself better
Love the simple yet effective head control. You can see the opponents completely unsure how to deal with you just pressing and pulling on the head and face.
Dunno about your coach saying, “break it” at a low level tournament, but your grappling is sick.
Haha MMA mentality. I wouldn’t have broken it unless it was ADCC
Staying calm in these matches is so key.

You have a very dominating style, very good for mma
Thank you. I wish I could compete with ground and pound.
@@coachkajan This is what I like the most about your style, I think regular bjj has been moving away from a martial art and becoming just a sport, a lot of positions and common practices fall apart if you consider that strikes, biting, grabbing balls etc exist .
Your style keeps a safe position at all times.
AaaAh ure so clean with it too
Sick offense from the overhook. I’ve been trying to develop my throws/trips from there too. A lot of guys will willingly take that underhook, giving me a good attachment. I do get punished for giving that up from time to time though. That’s part of the process of improvement though 😅
You’re going the right way brotha
Seems hellish to play guard vs you
It is if you do it wrong
Someone needs to make the meme of a dog rubbing its ass along the floor. And a dude pulling guard
That's so freaking clever. Did you think of that?
Wow. It’s like a tournament for a different style and you’re the only trained guy. It’s like watching new people against high level JJ. I’m am super impressed

murder choke is wild, def gotta try that
Well how does the ref know if you’re squeezing or not. I can see why you can’t do that
AVA has the worst rule set. Sub only in four minute matches, back escape only, not choice of spiderweb and only one round not three in overtime. They also had heel hooks in Gi, I mean, gawddamn, some of us have to work on Monday!!
Heel hooks should always be legal after purple belt.
In gi? That's wild man!@@coachkajan
Why not in GI? Just asking for clarification purposes
The added friction of the gi makes the heel hook so much harder and dangerous to escape. At least in no gi you can work your escapes due to less friction.@@rolfinho3885
