This guy is a master pyrotechnician- his stars, tined reports, colors, and breaks are ALWAYS perfect- callung him a living legend, although correct, doesnt do that man justice- incredible work as always!!
It never does!! And he is SUCH a humble man who is willing to show everyone what he does and how to do it... The first time I met him I was star struck and i was telling him how much I loved his stuff and he was all embarrassed and telling me the builders I should be watching instead LOL
@@denfireworks I remember meeting Tom R the day before a club shoot. we were just burning some Japanese sparklers and chatting. He literally described ever single metal or chemical and how is done or how to use it. So Humble So Kind. It was Truly an Honor. He even appreciated some of my 1.4g stuff. Great Man.
@@VermontCheddar He is a walking encyclopedia of chemicals and effects!! AND SO WILLING to share ALL of his knowledge!!! And OMG Humble.... The first time I met him I am not going to lie, I fan boyed out on him SO HARD.. he poo pooed it off and started telling me NO you need to watch X Y and Z they are doing awesome stuff and OH have you seen THIS one and LOL Dude is salt of the earth, and he is so detailed and skilled and just... Yeah... AWESOME guy!!
I had no clue he got moved up a day AND set to fire so late at night!! I HAD to stay and make sure I captured them for everyone who missed them, even though I was frozen LOL it was COLD LOL
Amazing. I had to work and left PGI early. Someone told me Tom wasn’t coming this year, but maybe they just meant for the rocket building class. Glad he made it. Thank you for recording this!
Nah Tom was there! They moved him around due to the weather though, so I didn't know he was sending up his rockets until 10:30 that night AND he didn't get to light them until 12:30... I HAD To make sure I posted this one!! Tom is 100% artist and he has such precision!!! Heck I would hang one of his rockets on the wall they look so good on the ground too!!! I am glad you got to see them even though you got called away for work (freaking bills to pay)
And the thing is... these ones are all 2 7/8" Canister headings on them too!! And he STILL gets that perfect symmetrical break!! And really, I would hang one of his rockets on my wall.. .they look that good on the ground too!!
He is SO Meticulous with all of his builds... and heck his rockets look amazing ON THE GROUND even that I would hang one on my wall LOL And he isn't a one trick pony... SO MANY outstanding effects!! And he gets such symmetry out of canister headings too!!! All of these where 2 7/8" can headings!!
100%!!! Even on the ground his rockets are a work of art I would hang on the wall!! In the air they are even better!!! He has SUCH precision... and all of these where canister style headers BUT He still got such great symmetry out of them!!!
Well, rain messed up the schedule so they moved him UP a day... and they didn't announce Tom was up until 10:30 at night when a lot of people had already left (it was COLD and windy out). So I had TO make sure I got his stuff posted for everyone who missed them... He is just a Grand Master.... such precision and skill! I have NEVER seen a dark salute that was PITCH black like that ALL the way up to his vivid colors... I love seeing everything he sends up!!!
To be honest, the last 3 were the most impressive! Those silent "salutes" flash thingies and finaly some dark salutes that work😮. Tom and Ned should start a rocket only company. 😊
Those were THE DARKEST salutes I have ever heard (I can't say seen LOL) I talked to him after and he was so excited to read your comment and me talking about the dark salutes that he plans on making more of them next year!!! I even got a hug he was so happy!
Tom doesn't sell any of his rockets... but man he is just a MASTER and so precise... If he did sell them I don't want to think of what the cost would be LOL He puts so much time into each one!
He didn't make it this year... He has been dealing with some medical issues, and needed some more recovery time before going through such a busy week sadly..
Toms timing ad precision are second to none!!!! He truly makes works of art and even the rockets themselves are things of beauty on the ground!
where is this at
