Which would you recommend, Pkmn Ranger or Guardian Signs? 1 Month later- I have played Guardian Signs and though it is WAY too easy with the poke-assist mechanic, I absolutely loved the story. Next up is the original Pokemon Ranger, I'm ready for a challenge.
I would recommend the 1st one because I like it better but if you're playing shadows of Almia, guardian signs is more similar to that game because the 1st ranger game's capture mechanic is different than the other 2 have because you have to capture the pokemon in a single round (they don't have an HP bar or meter, they have a set amount of numbers you have to loop around)
Drapion was hardest to capture when I was 12 year old, so was Lucario, Cresselia, and Darkrai. I captured drapion on my third go, Lucario on my third go, Cresselia third go, and Darkrai third or fourth go.
I thought about how that would be on switch...maybe you do like a circle motion with the joycons, kinda like motion controls on Wii? Would be tight for sure.
