just wonderin but i have the same ZR straight as you standerd size tires (205 45 R17) and there rubbing on full lock left n right on the bottom part of the bodywork near the rear subframe mounts on that part just wonderin why that could be n how to sort it ?
It could be possible your steering rack doesn't have the lock stops for a ZR. If they're just the small amount of rubbing that normally is found on a ZR inner arch then I'm surprised it was even mentioned on the mot
Hey man, really appreciate the support you've given the channel. New uploads are on the way soon however something happened over winter which I'll be talking about in my next video
@@Forgotten_performance ahh sound ngl i was gettin worried there haha cuz in the mean time i have stripped all the parts off my rover fillerd and resprayed the front wings properly fitted the ZR body kit front and rear resprayed down the sides of the car done more dam welding refitted my purfurated straight though backbox (dude it sounds nice theres a yt vid of how it sounds from someone else if you want to gived it a listen hell u might like it for yours) ,refitted the ZR 160 alloys and front end, all i need to do now is take it to work stick it on the ramp and give it an MOT then to adamC fest in the classic cars section and a pic outside the MG factory and not to forget binly mega chippy. possibly caffine and machine if i have time lol
You've been proper busy! Glad you're getting it all sorted there, hopefully catch sight of it at one of the shows you mentioned. I've got 2/3 videos I'm currently working on, just keep getting rained off filming anything haha
Hi mate, thanks for the comment. Ive had my 135 cams in my 1.4 105 engine i had and in the current 135 1.8 engine. Theyre easy to fit as a direct replacement for the factory ones, i would recommend a remap and supporting mods like a 52mm tb and a good exhaust
@@Forgotten_performance that’s great to hear il have them put on end of next month. & yeah I’ve got 52 tb and cda induction kit with sportex exhaust system and having a toyo sports manifold put on next month is well. Thanks for replying so soon appreciated 👍🏻
Nice😎

Unfortunately from what I've seen all of them rub there even with 205s. Never seen one that doesn't
@@Forgotten_performance dam ok do yours rub ? just that even though there OEM for that car the mot failed the car lmao 💀

Mine rub at full lock but not enough that you can notice at all, it's only when you look underneath there's a feint mark
@@Forgotten_performance ohhhh because mine is a rover 25 with ZR parts
dam its been 6 months and no upload on anythin

My set up was very similar on my 1.4 and that was good for 135bhp, great engine and definitely worth fitting the cams
