In my opinion, I feel like Discord should’ve been severely punished for what he has done. Not only did he betrayed his friends, but he also teamed up with a Minotaur they could’ve gotten every pony killed. He put everyone he “cared” about in a cage for power. At the end of that episode, they just forgave him. Like he stole candy bar or something. Sometimes I don’t like how these ponies are so forgiving.
Your last point especially apply to the movie, not EQG but the 2017 one, we have Klugetown a city of sc*ms and rats living on slavery and literally selling Ponies' body parts (Unicorns' horns, who know how they even got them), Ponies' response ? A few episodes before 3 the crowd Discord tests Twilight's friendship with him seemingly out of the blue and it's just by pure "coincidence" Twilight is the one who has to accept him as her friend officially 3. When the castle is created Discord it expects a throne 4. At the end of the episode he gives Celestia a bouquet of flowers with a wink seemingly out of nowhere 5. Last point I want to make is that this is not out of the realm of discord's character because he literally fakes being hurt at the end of the season 9 premiere to push them to go farther
Honestly Do Princesses Dream of Magic Sheep? was a favorite episode of mine. I like Princess Luna as she is one of my favorite characters.. and highlighting her struggle with guilt was good actually...I feel like kids need things that talk about mental health struggles and that it's ok to ask for help. I never really thought much about the controversies as I enjoyed the episodes at face value while still enjoying the messages they portrayed... Also the Anime style battle of Tierk v. Twilight went so hard.
I agree And in my opinion Have you ever wonder what my little pony would’ve been if there were more anime battles But there are some episode that should be fixed
Some of the episodes you talked about are really cool. For example the one with Mare Do Well, the one with Luna's dream and One Bad Apple. Daring Don't is also awesome. I mean, who wouldn't be super excited when they realize the hero from their favorite book series was real? Wouldn't that be awesome?
Episode about the pinky sense I think a lot of people look a little too hard into, I think what it meant to display is not everything has ananswer, sometimes things happen and there’s no reason or explanation. And it’s very true. A lot of us can get so focused on theories strange things happening trying to find an answer and in the end there might be no answer.
I really love feeling pinky Keen because over everything it's really just meant to explain the character of Pinkie Pie everything she does just does not make sense and it's the writers way of saying we don't know either and we're not going to explain it
I totally disagree with the controversy about Season 5 Finale Yes ok, Starlight did technically destroy the world, and she was forgive too easily, ok But hear me out. Starlight goal was destroy the Mane 6 friendship in order to take revenge, NOT destroy the world. She never realize how much important Twilight Friends were until she see the wasteland herself Plus, her dystopia in her village was for "protect herself" from the same event that destroy her bond with Sunburst She is not evil, just broken. She deserve it a second chance and be forgiven, and all the pain she go through with her self-guilt and more than enough as punishment
Plus, she never got proper guidance to tell her from right and wrong, if nopony told her what she was doing was wrong then how would she knew ? In her perspective it's Twilight who shattered her perfect world.
I still think she should have gotten in more trouble but me personally I never had a big problem with how they reformed Starlight I just don't like what they did with the village
I will admit, Season 9 should have been where the Mane 7 meets the Mane 6 and Grogar is acutally real instead of Discord pretending to be him. Not only that, but the rest of the Mane 6 should have been turned into alicorn princesses. That would have saved Twilight and Discord the pain of watching their friends die and them to just live forever (at least until the end of the world)
Do Princess' Dream of Magic Sheep was pretty relatable to me. I suffer from mental disabilities and I have to take medication to manage them. There's been many times when I felt as worthless as Luna felt in the episode. I now understand that self-harm is not healthy at all, and it does more damage than it helps.
I have to agree that "Mysterious Mare Do-Well" really does not give a positive message, it just throws rotten tomatoes in Dash's face. That mother pony who lets her baby nearly fall off a cliff twice ought to be jailed for child negligence. And why does Mare Do-Well look like a changeling? Revenge for bullying isn't a surprising move, but you would think the CMC would do it to Diara and Silspoon, not Babs Seed. Victims of bullying eventually get fed up of being pushed around and start to fight back, which was why they would not vote for Diara in "Crusaders of the Lost Mark". What a lot of people don't understand about "Cutie Re-Mark" is that destroying Equestria wasn't Starlight's intent. And even without the Mane Six, you'd think destiny would skirt around the missing Sonic Rainboom and find another way to make friendship becoming magic. Starlight wasn't exactly forgiven quite enough given the challenges she faced in "No Second Prances" and "Every Little Thing She Does" What really put me off in "A Canterlot Wedding" was the Mane Six and Celestia's sheer stupidity in believing Twilight was wrong, before brushing it off. In "Daring Don't" I find the ponies of Somnabula very unfriendly, inhospitable, and gullible, making them bigger villains than Dr. Caballeron. In "Do Princesses Dream of Magic Sheep?" it seems ridiculous that Luna feels the need to punish herself with the Tantalus when a banishment on the moon for 1000 years was excessive.
I hate the book episode. It feels like there poking fun of the brony fandom. But the others are great. But the final finally. I didn't like it was Discord all along. It takes the surprise away. But the ending was still great for the final show down
I didn't like how the witers made Discord pretend to be Grogar. If he was real and tried to get the spirit of disharmony and Nightmare Moon to join the legion of doom, What would he do? Also, why werent the Equestria Girls in Season 9? They would've made the finale a lot more interesting, including the rest of the mane 6 becoming alicorns.

I didn't like the episode shere the Mane 6 pretended to be Mare Do Well. I mean, WHY THE HECK DIDN'T THEY TALK TO RAINBOW DASH ABOUT HER BRAGGING FOR BOING'S SAKE? Don't get me started on the end of Season 5. I don't understand why Starlight Glimmer wasn't criminally charged for her actions when she ruled her old village. If Hitler did the exact same things but even worse, would you forgive him so easily? The ponies of Equestria are a little too soft, naive, and forgiving for their own good in this instance compared to us humans, and that's something to truly think about.
I admit i to thought that the twilight's kingdom episode was leaning into violence with the fight between twilight and tirek because it really reminded me of the final fight between spider man and green goblin in spider man no way home
I really didn't like The Mysterious Mare Do Well, and it's because the MANE 6 stole Rainbow Dash's thunder instead of talking to her about her bragging like someone with common sense. It's my least favorite episode out of all the others.
@@BrandonHenderson-n8f I think they did it because at this point in the serie, RD didn't have the character growth to understand through a discussion, they had to show some actions. But I do understand your point, they involuntarily made her feels useless.

Yea starlight redemption arc is very badly handled Like here is what I would fix 1.I would give her a better backstory cause lets be real the og one kinda sucks and it makes starlight really petty(I would make her parents very abusive and they would talk about cutie mark and etc and sunburst would be final straw for her) 2. Do not immediately reform her I can see her breaking down, but I think Twilight should have put her with someone who was once a villain like her(and twilight should have created something that would prevent from starlight to use extreme magic) Season 6 finale would be the same but with starlight proper redemption arc Also as a lot people are saying Season 9 penultimate episodes sucks(cause final episode-the proper one with celestia twilight is good imo)
Me personally I really like that she didn't have a dramatically sad backstory I think it's supposed to be able to relate to real people something like the smallest things can make a person's spiral out and if you focus on something too much it will hold you back kind of like the lesson of Meet the Robinsons if you've seen that I really think they should have leaned into the moving forward thing for star light over anything else especially since it was a time travel episode so what time does be funny if they lean into the don't hold on to the Past

Let me go ahead and lay down my evidence first off earlier in the episode Discord bookmarks every important part of their Journal to help them out and it just so happens to help them out in this specific situation
secondly Celestia has a vision the first time we were hearing about this. right after Celestia summons Discord we do not get to see that conversation at all tell me next time we see Discord he is immediately with trek and just folds so quickly

I really love feeling pinky Keen because over everything it's really just meant to explain the character of Pinkie Pie everything she does just does not make sense and it's the writers way of saying we don't know either and we're not going to explain it
I totally disagree with the controversy about Season 5 Finale
Yes ok, Starlight did technically destroy the world, and she was forgive too easily, ok
But hear me out.
Starlight goal was destroy the Mane 6 friendship in order to take revenge, NOT destroy the world. She never realize how much important Twilight Friends were until she see the wasteland herself
Plus, her dystopia in her village was for "protect herself" from the same event that destroy her bond with Sunburst
She is not evil, just broken.
I still hate the season 9 final 😭
Why ??
I still Hate season 9 final
We all do, Caleb.
We all do. (Me included.)
I will admit, Season 9 should have been where the Mane 7 meets the Mane 6 and Grogar is acutally real instead of Discord pretending to be him. Not only that, but the rest of the Mane 6 should have been turned into alicorn princesses. That would have saved Twilight and Discord the pain of watching their friends die and them to just live forever (at least until the end of the world)
@BrandonHenderson-n8f
😅 it's not the end of the world🌎.
It's just the beginning
Why tho
We will agree to disagree, my friend
How the heck does _Over a Barrel_ not make this list?
Was wondering the same thing
Do Princess' Dream of Magic Sheep was pretty relatable to me. I suffer from mental disabilities and I have to take medication to manage them. There's been many times when I felt as worthless as Luna felt in the episode. I now understand that self-harm is not healthy at all, and it does more damage than it helps.
Celestia is to lazy to help Twilight to defeat Tirek sorry I don't know how to spell it but it's true
Celestia and Luna were nerfed :/
@@ToonTimeEUAit's Nerf or nothing!
I agree with all your points.
Derpy is one of my absolute favorite characters. I wish they wouldn't have changed her at all.
I hate the book episode. It feels like there poking fun of the brony fandom. But the others are great. But the final finally. I didn't like it was Discord all along. It takes the surprise away. But the ending was still great for the final show down
I didn't like how the witers made Discord pretend to be Grogar. If he was real and tried to get the spirit of disharmony and Nightmare Moon to join the legion of doom,
What would he do? Also, why werent the Equestria Girls in Season 9? They would've made the finale a lot more interesting, including the rest of the mane 6 becoming alicorns.
My love Derpy Hooves❤❤😊🎉🎉🎉🎉
I must have mixed up "weird" with dumb. Cuz most of them weren't that weird to me. Num 1 3 4 & 10 were defenettily goofy though.
1:55 i don't think so, the message means "be confident with what you believe, as long as it's not a wrong thing" or "you don't need to understand anything in this world" 😂

Me too 🤩
I didn't like the episode shere the Mane 6 pretended to be Mare Do Well.
Well, see ya in 10 minutes to see why they're controversial.

I think the best seasons of mlp g4 were 1 untile 5, the rest weren't good enough, its my opinion though
For me season 4 onward is when the show kicked it up a notch and got better and better with each new season. The first 3 seasons felt like they were still mostly experimenting before the show finally found its true identity.

As a og brony these weren't all controversial some were others less so.
keep in minde some of these supposed kids were not even born when g4 aired back in 2013.
so these supposed contovrsy were a minority not a majority.
so tho i agree on some of these i cant 100% agree.
keep in minde that this was a whole different era for the stronger generations.
If you talked to others that are ogs like me our opinions would be simler i cant speak for all of um.
B4 anypony gets to criticizeing me keep in minde that most of us were here as it aired.
Thir are even some that are even more og bronies then i some grew up at the very beginning of the franchise and some even b4 the rebrand from prety pony to mlp.
It was censorship ship

What the frik what
And Big Mac being a mare, has absolutely no relevance to the video.🫤❓❓❓
@@sonicgen20 Based Trans Big Mac
Yea starlight redemption arc is very badly handled
Like here is what I would fix
1.I would give her a better backstory cause lets be real the og one kinda sucks and it makes starlight really petty(I would make her parents very abusive and they would talk about cutie mark and etc and sunburst would be final straw for her)
2. Do not immediately reform her
I can see her breaking down, but I think Twilight should have put her with someone who was once a villain like her(and twilight should have created something that would prevent from starlight to use extreme magic)
Season 6 finale would be the same but with starlight proper redemption arc
Also as a lot people are saying
Season 9 penultimate episodes sucks(cause final episode-the proper one with celestia twilight is good imo)
THAT!? OMG!? I wish was she Dead already
