@@StrikeCL I still love arena, but I hate the format they have going on. I never thought I'd say this, but I'd really like them to just go back to standard arena for a little while. All the switching that was going on with arena was fun and exciting at first, but the swings would lead to some great fun in arena followed by months of a shitty version of arena. I really enjoy Battlegrounds, but would love to go back and play some arena if they reverted back to standard for a little while.

I ended second today, I was losing early alot even though I had mama bear. Too many demons!
Honestly passing Rat packs in favor of spending 6 gold a turn on re rolls seems like a bad move...
Keeping the rat packs at all was the bad idea.
Mama bears boost rat packs. So the only reason to have 2 slots for Mama Bear is rat pack, but only if the deathrattle hits before Mama Bear dies. If you have health, you should high roll and hope Mama Bear survives. If you have low health, you should sell Mama Bear at the end and go full stats. But keeping Mama Bear and low number of deathrattle is a bad idea

Ok but with amalgam that happened every single game, with out it happens really rarely to get this giant minions, unless ur the curator and get to late game.
Needed to switch from mama rat pack to death rattle coiler for any shot of late game. Use mamas go buff beasts and then sell
Let's waste end game turns on looking for triples and not playing around what the game gave me to make a better board. That or mama bear is bad. I trust krip alot but that late game was on him. Look at that wasted gold just on the last turn alone

The main issue with Battlegrounds - there is NO reward/quest/unlocks in it. You just play for the sake of it. Which is not my cup of tea these days though. =/
That wasn’t a particularly early mama bear. And passing up the rat pack triple for 6 rerolls was silly.
Kripp telling a Hearthstone player they're powerful is like God telling a human they're powerful. It just doesn't compute.
One of these days, Kripp is gonna just take the buffs in front of him, and stop fucking rolling all his gold away. He would insta lose in an actual autochess game.
battlegrounds is unplayable until they remove curator, they get rid of amalgam cause its to OP but decide to allow only 1 hero to have it instead, making it an instant win hero if you have any amount of skill. this mode is so unbalanced it makes me think they have toddlers working on it.
Mama bear is enough if you don't throw at the end.

I was able to play a beast build with a early hyena token and rat opener allowing me to teir up but still end up winning. I had a golden micro machine as well and I sold that off as well, I got all three of my momma bears through my triples which was really lucky to say the least and it saves you so much board space. Also i was playing George and built up a board or big divine shield beast that just snowballed and killed like half if not more or the lobby. I can see why Kripp lost there thanks to his bad luck.

Noob question: What's the point of windfury in battlegrounds? Isn't being attacked just as good as attacking?
I can only see two reasons for it, the first being the fact that the only character that starts with windfury is zapp, and the reason he has it is so he can snipe low health units like baron rivendare or mama bear. those characters will be put in a late attack order by the opponent, so hitting them more than once, or more than one of them, is beneficial to you.
The second reason would just be to increase the chance to kill off your own unit, you might buff something with windfury and put it as your first unit so it can do its damage and die off, opening the board for your deathrattle minions to spawn things. Windfury just increases the chance that it dies early.
There might be other reasons but that's all i can think of. Generally nobody uses the windfury buff it's pretty pointless the majority of the time

The problem with mama bear in late game is that it doesn't rly scale. Late rat pack doesn't do much either, especially when you know that other players have just huge stats.
U so bad on beast( buff mama instead of hydra - don't kill jogg, don't buy rat, sell murloc to late. Really bad beast performance. Never do it again.

Got mama bear once on like t4 from shifter zerus... and like 1 ratpack for the most of the game. And the player on p1 and p2 took zapp after mid game mama rape so it died quickly...

At mid 6000, as soon as I try and go beasts I get smashed by massive murlocs, cobalts, deathrattles and demons.
Cobalt needs a nerf. I often get punished for levelling instead of staying at low tiers and fishing for cobalt.

Had a pretty lucky beast build yesterday. Was playing the secret person. I lost to the last guy but had ice block up. Was searching for more stuff. Then I found another ice block and lost again. Then I finally hit another goldrin so I had two goldrins, 2 already massive cleaves which were buffed from golden mama bear, a rat pack, and I finally hit the baron and won easily. Would've lost if I didnt have ice block two turns in a row.
Meanwhile when I play Akazamzarak I can't even find ice block once. Last week I played vs a guy that had 4 in a row and I won all 4 times but the 4 extra turns let him win in the 5th. That sucked.
Imagine picking Mama Bear over Tav 6 poison.
Last time i got a shifter in to mama super early i found a total of 3 other beast the entire game. All of them was before i got the mama...

Super early game advantage from "buying" minions for 1 mana with nice chance of Triples.. It can also help later.
