Prauf was one of the most loyal friends Cal had. You could tell he had been through some seriously tough times and genuinely wanted the best for Cal. Even though hes not the educated on the fall of the republic he isn't blindly following Imperial propaganda and knows things were better under the republic. Prauf was a serious homie that could have easily been one of the best side characters in the series.
