The newer drones are using EFPs. Making that spaced “armor” useless.
I’ll play devils advocate for a moment and say this peaks my interest. It’s the barest beginning of a good idea, one that I could see be refined elsewhere and elsewhen for a few points:
⚪️The Armor looks like it can be slapped onto any pre-existing vehicle that can carry it…
⚪️They seemingly can be built and maintained and replaced fairly easily…
⚪️Using “Shell Armor” like this would also be faster and cheaper that modifying the individual vehicles…
⚪️And it looks like the whole thing can be a blank canvas for a slew of modifications (like the electronic warfare countermeasures we’ve already seen). I’m thinking there could be the possibility of using the hollow gaps for adding additional troop transportation capabilities onto any fitted vehicles (with firing ports to have the troops fire out of the shell and make up for any loss in the main vehicle’s usual weapons capabilities), or even a built in means to shed the shell when it arrives at its destination, while also having the shell be used as potential hard(ish) cover for advancing infantry.
Obviously Russia still sucks, and they’re REEKING of desperation for trying this over and over, but I’ll give credit where it’s due.

Strike on Crimea:
1. beyond the focus on the Kerch Bridge. Understand that when the bridge is knocked out, the major trans shipping location will be Rostov-on-Don.
The UA, if and when it starts an offense, will target railroad bridges leading to Rostov-on-Don and also leading from there to the Ukraine. It will reduce the logistical line to that coming from Belgorod.
2. If the Russian helicopter support can be eliminated from any bases in the occupied areas, it will allow UA to pick and chose from whence to advance. The two most effecitve Russian weapons are the SU25 close in attack plane which can no longer be based within the occupied Ukraine and the helicopters. To the extent that the UA can advance say 10 miles anywhere on the front line except the left or east bank of the Dnipro near Kherson, it puts more of the Russian logistical lines within the range of less expensive UA options.

The big picture for me is that Ukraine is struggling while munitions are low . They are struggling with glide bombs as Russian airforce is almost unopposed. These are things that the Ukrainians cannot do much about
Sure, blaming is not constructive. Understanding the situation and what caused it could be important, however. Is the problem poor morale, if so what has caused it? Is the problem that there are too few soldiers in the army (they haven't left the battlefield in over 2 years)? Was there a communication problem? Did the Ukrainian command make a mistake?

It 100% is important. That is how they transport thousands of their machinery, tanks, and ammunition straight to the frontline. If you destroy the line in multiple spots, it'll definitely slow down their logistics.

We have helped Ukraine with NATO equipment but seems that we forgot that we are used to fight with absolute air superiority.
If we dont really help Ukraine to get that superiority then this will keep being an attrition war that Russia can resist for a long time, their economy has proved to be very resilient thanks to oil&gas and are currently producing more equipment than they loose on the battlefield.
A few F16 wont change that, Ukraine needs help building a powerful airforce... Or at some point, direct intervention to close the skies (wich they asked for since the first minute)

Да, можно конечно принять новый закон о мобилизации, можно ловить еще больше мужиков на улицах украинских городов силами мясников из ТЦК, но это будут совсем не те мотивированные и идейные убийцы, что воевали в том же "Азове", эти будут только думать о том как бы сохранить себе жизнь, или побыстрее сдаться. И пока еще соотношение первых и вторых такое, что позволяет фронту держаться, но чем дальше тем все меньше будет мотивированных и тогда самовольное оставление позиций (как сегодня было в Очеретино) станет для укранских вояк нормой.
И тогда никакое западное оружие уже не поможет...

There is no much motion blur on the plane, the exhaust looks static and the drone is not blown out of the sky by the turbulent air behind the plane.
But who knows, I have never seen a drone this close to a plane before and maybe there is little motion blur on the camera.🤷♂

Relief about the US aid package. The Black Sea and Crimea will definitely be on the menu. We should have been at this point a year ago!
It hints at two possibilities, Ukrainian leadership is incompetent or they don't have the men/resources to do anything.... or both.
Taxpayers are feeling the strain and their political leaders, desperate for political capital are asking for more while Ukraine is showing nothing in return....... the calls to cut funding will grow louder if Ukraine cannot take territory or if they loses more.
We should have been at "This point?" What point? Sending more military equipment to a foreign Country that's not a NATO member? This is just giving Russia all of the equipment that losing ground Ukraine will be donating to them. We should have never been at "this point" ever. We will see if it makes any difference because continuing to give is not going to be easy if Ukraine doesn't gain ground. They've talked about more money the entire time even when everyone was giving money and military support. They haven't been losing ground because America isnt giving them more. America hasn't wanted to be giving Russia more. That's the point we should be at.
oH and best way for LONG term support. Is to set up a Global Regional Long Term Package. Rotate the Big Bulk packages (35B plus) between Americas, EU/UK, Oceania/Others :D with continued trickle aid throughout the year on top of it.
