Looks like you have a nice property there. I like the closed in under deck area there, looks nice. I would shave down that beam and redo the corner trim to be one continuous piece from top to bottom. Also, I fear the doors will clatter in the wind. I had a set of gates at my last house that made an ungodly racket in the wind. I would add a latch to the top of the large door locking it into the frame, should cut down the noise quite a bit.

All the hardware was purchased at Home Depot. You just need to get the size that works best for your individual project.
