I thought being a black belt in that system took 8 -10 years?

      Murray Hunter what that's he's an 8th?

Murray Hunter Kajukenbo is respectable and that Name Kingi is well known.
So that's why its odd that a guy who can't be more than 40yrs old at most, is already an 8th degree?
It makes no sense, sunless the description is wrong.

I believe he's been training his entire life. His parents are masters.

Chromecannon I know who is father is, but no 35-40yo is going to be an 8th degree.
It doesn't even match up logically and time wise.
Gary Forbach is a 9th Degree and has been in Kajukenbo since 1966.
So how does a 35-40yo get to be that close to a man like that, without Belt Jumping?

I understand your concern and respect it, my wife professor Elanie Kingi carried Robert 9 months and two weeks before he was born she was on the floor teaching and working out, the day he was born 1982 he grew up in the school I always tell people he has right now training 5 days a week he has 36 years and 9 month of training he has been grand champion 7 times at the all KSDI Kajukenbo tournament has took over as owner and head instructor at Kingi's Kajukenbo in 2010, you can test is physical skills and his knowledge of our art anytime . SGM Rick Kingi
And as far as anyone using SGM Gary Forbach name he was a part of the promotion along with GGM Carlos Bunda and many more GM's who supported the promotion, all are welcome to come down to our school train practice spar we have a open mat night every Tuesday from 7:45 pm. My wife and I have four children all of them black belts that grew up at the school along with two daughter in laws 6 grandchildren we have had the school going on 38 years I have been teaching since 1969 I black belted in 1968 I have over 150 black belts that I taught from white belt to black at a minimum of 5-6 years of training. Any other question feel free to contact us at Kingi's Kajukenbo always open. Train hard to remain hard

They don’t deserve any respect Dad. They are just trolls who hide behind fake and anonymous names who are too ignorant and disrespectful! Evidently they are familiar with the family and Kajukenbo, so that leads me to believe they are bitter in some way and just want some attention lol.

I do not know much about this particular style system But I do know enough about the martial arts that there is no way on God's green Earth that this man even if he was 40 years old would become an 8th degree grandmaster stop the nonsense stop handing belts out to people If you people are worried that much about your system that you just hand out belts to people Try selling cars instead....
