Really good game this. Definitely one to play in an evening. Good to see your wife's up for a game aswell. Mine doesn't like me doing it let alone joining in. Lol.brilliant looking board aswell. Look forward to seeing more. 👍👍
After watching your how to play video followed by this one I have had to buy the rules and some scenery. Just need to paint up the gangs before high noon!
They're using revolvers, which means a jam is kind of impossible. (Jams refer to obstructions in the feed mechanism of auto-loading weapons) What you're more likely to encounter is a dud, either from the primer or the powder itself being inert for whatever reason. In which case you'd just rotate the cylinder to the next round. Conceivably he could also have an empty chamber but it amounts to the same thing, he'd just more likely know about it. It's POSSIBLE for the mechanism of the firearm itself to be broken in some way which prevents it from lining up the next round, but in that case it's just ruined and you're probably not going to be able to use it for the rest of the fight. You'd have to get it disassembled and repaired if not replaced. The most likely scenario, assuming it's single-action, is he just tried to fire it half-cocked which is user error that would prevent it from going off. But again, just try again.
You certainly know your stuff, and far more than me 👍🙂 Given some of the things you can do in DMH including falling down drunk mid action or diving across an alley through two upper windows if your looking for gritty realism this may not be the game for you 😉

That was quite disconcerting how calmly and cheerfully Hayley stated "I'm going to try and shoot you in the face ... twice"

All my terrain was from 4Ground, I think it's now available through great escape games 👍
A better way to resolve ties is probably to rank the suits. Use the bridge order Spades > Hearts > Diamonds > Clubs
Not a bad plan, Blood and Plunder uses something similar 👍
Where are your figures from? I'm looking into the Wild West. Don't know what to get, DMH or Gunfighter's Ball!
