Thank you dear Sister! You and your husband are gifted exhorters. Eyes up! Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the GIFT of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Acts 16:31 "And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." Colossians 1:14 "In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:" Salvation is obtained by simply believing in Jesus' death (Blood sacrifice), burial and resurrection for payment of all your sins, past, present and future.

Amen! Repentance is important so we can grow in maturity and the Lord tells us to do it in 1 John. But it plays no role in your salvation. The only requirement to be saved is faith in Christ alone.

I find it difficult to find anyone with genuine faith and belief in Jesus who is also comfortable talking about him. Maybe it's where I am living. So many seem to just be living pointless lives in the world chasing worldly garbage, they are constantly distracted and 'too busy'. I sometimes try to have the most basic conversations about God with others, mainly to encourage and this is always resisted and becomes something people turn away from or don't wish to discuss. They become uncomfortable especially when Jesus is mentioned. Many are like this. Hardly any seem to want to listen or even consider for a moment that God might be real and yet I know this is the most important and only thing that counts in the end once our lives are over in the world. I think it would make a nice change if people focused on God instead of this empty and corrupt world which really has nothing to offer, absolutely nothing. God bless.

I feel ya man. Today at work I was trying to talk to a coworker about it and just kinda see where they were at with their faith, if at all and no one would budge. And people wonder why I don’t talk a lot about my Faith at work 😂 they make it not inviting.

@@macksmith6694 When I drive for Uber I just try to chat with them like normal. How you doing? What do you do? Then I talk to them about their work/job. And I throw in a "Uggggh right? BILLS! These cursed WORKS." Then they laugh. And it gets easier to chat with them after that. Make them feel comfortable. Show them you care. Then drop a little Master J into the conversation. BAM! Just like that. 😂

Sometimes, people get lost and just aren't ready to be edified ❤
Doesn't mean they aren't part of the body
    2 Corinthians 10:8
“For though I should boast somewhat more of our authority, which the Lord hath given us for edification, and not for your destruction, I should not be ashamed:”

God bless you! Soo many things in this video that popped my thoughts into my head. Specifically… Your comments about being born again and being born again and so forth. If it was in anyway, based off of our work… Every time we sin, would that mean, we have to get baptized and water again, then again, then again. Like where would you draw the line at repentance..? 🙄

Everyone needs to repent not only to the lord but to the ones you have wronged though our sins. If everyone personality did this then live with truth, love and kindness the world would be a better place for the next generation

Yes, Scripture teaches that the flesh is inclined toward sin, even for believers. The "flesh" often refers to our fallen, sinful nature or the physical body that is subject to temptation and sin. Here are some key passages addressing the idea that the flesh still sins:
      1. **Romans 7:18-19** - The apostle Paul explains the struggle between the flesh and the desire to do good:
      > "For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh. For I have the desire to do what is right, but not the ability to carry it out. For I do not do the good I want, but the evil I do not want is what I keep on doing."
      2. **Romans 8:8** - Those who are in the flesh cannot please God:
      > "Those who are in the flesh cannot please God."
      3. **Galatians 5:17** - The battle between the desires of the flesh and the Spirit:
      > "For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh; for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do."
      4. **Galatians 5:19-21** - Paul lists the "works of the flesh," which are sinful behaviors:
      > "Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God."
      5. **1 John 2:16** - Describes the desires of the flesh that lead to sin:
      > "For all that is in the world-the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life-is not from the Father but is from the world."
These passages reveal that even though Christians are new creations in Christ, the flesh (our sinful nature) still battles against the Spirit, leading to temptation and sin. However, believers are called to walk by the Spirit and crucify the flesh with its passions (Galatians 5:24).

So have you sacrificed any animals of late, because if you haven't you've sinned, if you're going to follow the commandments, it's not just ten that you have to follow, it says in scripture if you're going to follow one bit of the law you have to follow ALL of the law...
Yes, Scripture teaches that if we follow one commandment, we are obligated to follow all of God's commandments. This idea is seen in several passages, particularly in the New Testament. Here are a few key verses:
      1. **James 2:10** (NIV):
*"For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it."*
This verse emphasizes that obedience to the law is an all-or-nothing matter. Even if someone follows most of the commandments but fails in one area, they are considered to have broken the whole law.
      2. **Matthew 22:37-40** (NIV):
*"Jesus replied: 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."*
Jesus summarizes the essence of the commandments as love for God and love for others, suggesting that all the other commandments are built on these two principles. Following these, in a sense, requires obeying all the commandments.
      3. **Galatians 5:14** (NIV):
*"For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'"*
Paul reinforces that fulfilling the law is possible by keeping the command to love others, underscoring that love for others encompasses all the commandments.
      4. **Romans 13:8-10** (NIV):
*"Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. The commandments, 'You shall not commit adultery,' 'You shall not murder,' 'You shall not steal,' 'You shall not covet,' and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law."*
Here, Paul shows that love for others sums up and fulfills all of the commandments, again suggesting that obedience to one command implies following all others.
In summary, Scripture teaches that God's commandments should be followed in their entirety. Obedience to one commandment is tied to the need to follow all of them, and love, in particular, is central to fulfilling the law.
