The “real” version is almost 6 minutes long. This one is a video edit.
The other 2 were from their latest album "Judas" (2021).
They have already recorded and produced another one earlier this year that will (hopefully) come out 2023. Since then, they’ve been on tour almost non-stop.
This song is from the previous album "Thornstar" (2018). Iron Maiden liked this album so much, they asked LOTL to join them as support band on their 2020 tour. Due to the pandemic, the tour finally happened this year. They also covered “Children of the damned”.
They exist for 15 years, with their first album being 12 years old now. They released 7 "normal" albums since then, 3 "Swan Songs" albums that include symphonic/orchestral versions of some of their metal songs as well as new songs that only exist in this style. There's also an guitar only acoustic album with songs from "Thornstar", or "Swan Symphonies" that don't have vocals. You can say there's at least one album per year. Their output is honestly insane.
If you’ll ever be reacting to more LOTL songs, I’m afraid you’ll repeat “this one is my new favorite from what I've heard from them so far” a few more times ;)
One of my own favorites is 18 minutes long. "Letters To Home". The song exists in a "normal" version which is 10 years old and in a "swan songs" version (2020). It's a perfect example of songs telling stories.
One great thing about them is that they are constantly evolving while staying true to themselves. They make the music they want to do. Because of this, they were told to be "‘too dark’ for the rock scene, ‘too colorful’ for the gothic scene and ‘not hard enough’ for the metal scene". Because of this, they also sometimes release a western version of a song in a couple of days because they made a western style video for a metal song and were told that's "not true".
However, no matter the genre, they have a certain sound that fits to all of the different styles.
Maybe preferring-only-paying-cash-Me has to look into this whole Patreon thing after all...

Though I love the few songs David has reacted to so far, I feel like there's plenty of room to repeat that phrase; "This is the best I've heard from this band so far!"
Other songs from the same album as this one ("Thornstar") immediately come to mind, such as "Loreley", "Morgana", "Haythor" and "Black Halo".
My personal favorite is still "Raining Stars" from an earlier album, but could also recommend "Full Metal Whore", "La Bomba", "Six Feet Underground", and many more for future reactions.

Hi DH, I'm very glad you like the song so much. It's also one of my favorite Lord Of The Lost songs so far. I haven't heard all of their songs yet either, but as I saw on your list, there will be another Reaction next month. I'm looking forward to it :)
