I have an erhu which I got from my aunt in london but I'm having problem about learning how to play it. no one here in my country(Nepal) has idea about this instrument and how to play it. and I searched through the Internet , there are many erhu classes online but they have the payment issue where they need the paying card which I don't have.so I was wondering if you could help me learn how to play this beautiful instrument and explore and introduce this instrument to the Nepali people

Hello i have a question, what are the placement of the notes on the erhu?. I want to learn how to read erhu sheet music i can read piano and im happy the placements on the staff are the same for erhu and piano , but i can't figure out where the placements of the notes are on the erhu itself. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me
maximiliano diaz inzunza yes you can, maybe is better if you mark on the neck of the erhu, but you still need use you ears to make sure it right on pitch.
I am a beginner but able to play D and G scale. But when it comes to the low mi. I am stuck. What scale does the low mi belongs to? Can anyone enlighten me? Thanks.
William Ho it depends on which tune you are play, hard to say without seeing the music sheet. If they lowerst note is mi, then you need to play B flat which is (3 7), or you can play on C (2 6).
I really like the instrument, I play the violin and I'd doesn't seem much different! I would love to get my hands on an erhu.

Can i mark the d scale in the strings(to remember it)without affecting the beatiful sound?
