    Also instead of using a water pan try a deep disposable tin pan cut some vidalia onions into 1" slices line the pan with them sit your roast on the onions fill the pan with beef stock just until it's level with top of onions the drippings from the meat mixed with the broth makes awesome gravy remove the onions to dress up the roast after slicing!

    That Saucy Sow mustard rocks! That looks like the secret ingredient to your binder that made the meat keep the juice inside.

    Hey Mike, you did an outstanding job with the eye of round! I'm gonna check into those Saucy Sow products. That mustard sounds KILLER! Can't wait to see you do more cooks on the Gateway drum! I like that matte finish and color. I almost went with that myself. Cheers!

    Eye of Round is awesome if not overcooked. Super cheap too at Costco - you can get 2 of those for about $15. Like you said - it’s probably one of those cuts that make me want a deli slicer. I might throw one on the Traeger this weekend after seeing this.

    That outdoor table you had the potatoes on, I just bought that on Amazon. Was it easy to set up? Plus I was looking for a cover for it. Do you have a cover? Love your videos. Because of your videos, I bought a Pit Boss vertical smoker and I love mine! Keep up the great work!

    • @WeekendWarriorBBQ
      @WeekendWarriorBBQ  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mike, it was really easy to set up... it took about an hour or less. I dont have a cover for it yet but I can tell you it has held up to the Cleveland, OH weather since I bought it. I will say that if you have high winds, put it in the garage if you can. Mine has blown over a couple times. And THANK YOU for clicking on my videos!

    That saucy sows is some good stuff isn’t it? Make a Carolina gold sauce with it for pulled pork sandwiches, omit the vinegar.

    Green grass. Bet sliced up quarter inch thick would make good jerky. I see my Wally has the series 3 for $347+ tax. No bids on my series 5 yet.

    Central Connecticut it's $3.99/lb and on sale I get it for $2.99. BOGO are deceiving, but I guess the price is based on location.

    Just a question... why wouldn't cook until 200°~210°? Just curious is all. Thanks

    • @WeekendWarriorBBQ
      @WeekendWarriorBBQ  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think it would dry out at that temp. There isnt much fat in this cut of meat.

    • @derricklongworth1670
      @derricklongworth1670 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@WeekendWarriorBBQ I'm new to this whole thing.. I think I get it, the more fatty the meat the longer you want to cook the leaner the meat the less you want to cook. Is that about right...
