Hi. Brand new crocheter here. Do you have any videos that show how to finish it off? I’ve browsed a few of your videos, but it looks like you get a few rows done and then show the finished sample. I appreciate your help and I’m looking forward to following along with your videos. I just need to know how to finish. 😊 Thank you.
Hi! 🙋🏻♀️ Yeah, you're right, I usually complete the rows and show the finished pattern. I have shown how to finish it off in some video, but honestly, I can't remember which one anymore... 😅 However, I show it in the video I made about the perfect circle, even though it's a circular knitting, the closing procedure is the same: 👉 th-cam.com/video/wENzhMHl8LM/w-d-xo.html. Yes, you can definitely do it. Using a larger needle will give your shirt a looser, more open texture, which could be perfect for a lightweight summer look. Make sure to do a swatch first to see if you like the drape before starting.
Yes! or at least more written details. I honestly always get frustrated & click off, shortly after beginnung, because I cant always tell exactly which hole/stich she's going in to. For example: @ 0:58 it looks like shes going into the 3rd hold from the hook, but tyen as soon as she pulls the yarn through, it looks like it could have been only the 2nd hole from the hook...?!?

It depends on the yarn you're using, the hook size and your personal tension. Start with the foundation chain until you'll reach the size you want, respecting the multiples that this pattern requests. 😊
It sounds like you might be skipping stitches. Also, if your tension is too tight, it can make the work appear narrower or even cause you to unintentionally skip stitches.

Unfortunately, I don't have any videos showing how to hold the yarn, I believe there isn't one way that's better than the other, everyone has their own. I think you don't need to change, it's all about finding what works best for you, so don't worry if you can't hold the yarn and hook the same way I do, even because it can be tough to change something you've been doing a certain way for a long time. The important thing is that you've found your own comfortable way to crochet. 😊 👍
