I love the half double slip stitch. Ive made several scarves and a blanket with it. On the blanket i did one row of hdc and the next in the hdss. Makes a nice ribbed effect.

This is such a pretty stitch. The way you show to use your thumb to kind of hold down the loop you’ll pull through is so helpful and makes the stitch flow so smoothly off the hook. I’m making a blanket with many different textured squares, and I will use this stitch for one of my squares. Lovely!
