    I just made those last night. They came out great! I always used to buy them by Franz and Orchards and never knew how they were made. I did the prunes filling, but I had to make my own jam and coconut filling. Soooo Tasty. Thank you girl.

      I get the guava jelly from Walmart or the Caribbean supermarket.

    Great recipe, the crust was flaky and nice. I did the guava, which was okay. I do prefer real guava but not an option here in the US. I subscribe to your channel after looking at your other recipes.

    I have been looking for this style tarts for sooo long....Thank you thank you thanks you. I keep asking people for tarts and they kept bringing me some flaky pies smh....Told them they don't understand what I am asking....thanks but no thanksss. Frans used to make the best tarts but now I am not Dominica I have to do it myself. Thanks again for this recipe going to try it out later

      Apple pie is more of a flaky pastry and requires more steps

      Val XyanZ yes you can use this for meat pies. If you’d like more of a layered look like croissants a puff pastry dough would be better. I’ll be doing a recipe on it soon.
