Sheffield United have had the same pain losing Academy players and childhood Blades, Kyle Walker, Dominic Calvert Lewin and Harry Maguire for cheap money. Our best player in years was N'Diaye and he promised to sign an extended contract but the week before the Premier League started last season he changed his mind and we sold him to Marseille, altho we did receive £15 million. We've been looking for a top keeper since we lost Dean Henderson 5 years ago, so to bring in a young keeper as good as Cooper was probably our top priority over the Summer. So we're all delighted and don't worry, he'll be well looked after. Good luck to Argyle, hope you stay up, you have good fans.
As a Blade I can say we were in a similar position at the start of last season with Ndaye and we'd just been promoted to the Premier, that loss pretty much condemned us back to the Championship before a ball had been kicked, so I feel your pain. Best of luck for the rest of the season.
@@keyakaabag6017Berge wasn't half the player Ndiaye was, and only showed up occasionally. Still a loss to our squad but nowhere near as game changing of a loss.
Wrong mate the fact we held of to a retiring team for 3 sessons is why we flopped ndyie wouldnt have single handedly have solved that we need new players and we didnt buy em thats our fault
@@arklife99 I agree 💯 with you. Wilder failed last time in the Prem due to age and no pace, obviously was good enough to batter loads in the Championship though with a decent manager
Sad loss for the club TBH, but inevitable. Good luck Michael, thanks for your time and great efforts at the club over the years and good luck with your furthering career at Sheffield United. You will always be one of our own.
I'm a Sheffield United fan. We got £30m for what turned out to be Arsenal's 2nd choice keeper and he really wasn't all that good for us. Cooper for £2m +++? Well let's be honest initially we have had Argyle's trousers down because this guy is going to the very top. I hope you guys have a big sell-on clause because this is a £30m-£40m keeper and if you're on for 15% of the profit if/when it happens then the funds will go to a club I have a lot of time for. I truly hope you guys can survive the season and build from there. "Green Army!"
Exactly this - really hoping you sell him on for big money once he’s helped return you to the Premier League, you’ll gain a lot of causal fans in Plymouth who wish you and Mike well this season. Hope you go up, despite, as you say, pulling our pants down! 👊💚
When this take over goes through I doubt we'll sell cooper for huge money, I think we'll build the team around him, Good luck for the season fellas apart from when you play the Blades.
Hi guy's, from a Blade for over 60 yrs, aware of where you're coming from, and truly feel for you, as we too have been on the end of this many times. On behalf of all Blades fans, we wish you well for the rest of the season. I've been there many times, and always received a great welcome from the fans. Inch Incidentally, just wondering if he's able to play against you in forthcoming fixtures ?
Cheers Russ! Wishing you well too. I see no reason why he wouldn’t play against us unless he has a reoccurrence of his knee issues - hopefully not. Look after him for us! 👊💚
Micheal didn't want to stay once WR came, That's the end of it! We always have had this problem they won't stay down Devon both managers and in players. Conor Hazard isnt good enough we want to look at a good 3rd or 4th division keeper. I wish him well. Geoff Crudgington was a better keeper
Fair enough, He's gone this happens down here time after time. We have to move on and get a decent replacement and decent 3rd or 4th division keeper. They are out there
I'm a Blade and feel we got him for next to nowt, we know how it feels to lose top players on the cheap, we've got a good history of that ( maguire, walker, calvert-lewin etc). If he stays fit and we go back up he'll be a £30m keeper and you should get a decent cut out of that. Best of luck for this season to you. UTB ⚔️
Ramsdale was a traitor to Sheff United, even refusing to play in what was his last game, bragging and laughing about it on Arsenal's radio station good riddance as far as I was concerned, yep I'm a Blade fan and have been for 65 years, seen so much over all those years, and happy to see a good young keeper at Bramall lane after some of the dross we've had to put up with. There are so many new faces at the lane, if they gel, look out the rest of the Championship league.
19 games in 2 years is not good, why are you putting him on a pedistel.Trafford is so much better tan the boy . there was also quite a few blunders.yet you fail to say it lets stop being basis.
Yeah the injury at Hillsborough basically put pay to us ever getting good money for him to be honest; however it galvanised our squad to go on and win the league. Couldn’t have them lifting the league title, can we? 😉

That was maccabes fault wanted to pocket money instead of supporting the club he owned, henderson was never ours to begin with

I’ve never watched Cooper, but I already love him. UTB and good luck Plymouth for the season
You’ll love him mate, if he’s even a tenth as good as he was for us for blades he’ll be a cult hero 🙌💚

Either would be a huge win for you - lad’s a special talent, hopefully he shows that up at your place 👊💚

Gutted we couldn't get abit more money for him but with only 1 Yr left it's to be expected
Coop is the Blades new number 1.

Mike Cooper apparently was ‘difficult” in training before his transfer - just like Ramsdale for you
I'm a blade well look after your lad. We know how you feel trust me we lose big talent too it's the nature of the beast
