Love this! I'm reading his book "Delivering Happiness" right now. It's amazing how candid he is in that book about his journey and beliefs. It's a must-read for everyone. Specially if you're an entrepreneur, do yourself a favor and read that book today.
rip tony wow true humble heart light and love respect that you inspire me to keep loving and always put a smile for people smile for miles and love is always there i will spread your love and message thanks tony rip gone to soon
Tony of Zappos and Jeff of Amazon, both of them have no hair at all! thanks for uploading, Delivering Happiness, easy and fascinating to read and there are many valuable lessons.
This is so anti-mainstream. But I love it, I think we need more business owners, corporate executives, and employees from all levels to apply this in the company. Happy employees deliver the best services and products. Little things can go a long way. Happy Sunday.
Wow, I love this. It's so anti-business culture. Well maybe that is not the best use of words. I always disliked interviews. I get so nervous and end up not being myself. I tend to be a loner and like to just do a job. But I agree with this culture philosophy. I wonder if I could blossom more in a culture like this that allowed me to be myself.
***** I read that TH is an introvert; he's one of many introverted CEOs. If you could wonder about blossoming in a Zappos-like culture, then it's possible that you'd be able to do so.
Played poker & hung out in downtown Vegas and heard people talking smack about him. I don't get it he seemed like a sensitive & aware guy. I mean c'mon man (to paraphrase Biden) he did grow a couple businesses so he can't be a complete push over.
The different between Tony Hsieh of Zappos and Amazon.com Jeff Besoz is that Tony Hsieh is a genuinely nice guy, a great executive, a great leader; he sincerely wants to see happy and productive employees. Wile Jeff bezos is real bully, an abuser, an assho*le, and a psychopath. Tony Hsieh pays wells, employees are happy, the work environment is great - Jeff Bezos on the other hand treats his employees worse than the Nazis treated the Jews in concentration camps, on your feet for 11 hours with little to no breaks, they follow you in the bathrooms, they time you wile you are taking a &^% - personally it think Tony should not have merged or sold to an as$ like Jeff B. Nonetheless good for you Tony.

Zappos Airlines haha. I so wish for this to happen.
He had many more plans for Zappos in the future. It's a shame we won't get to see where he could of taken the company.
Where's the rest of the speech?
RIP
