Graphics would have to be nerfed in order to achieve performance mode on that console. Also take into account how the series S is less than half as powerful as the PS5 and Series X
True the Series S is 4 TFlops while the PlayStation 5 is 10 TFlops and the Series X is 12 TFlops. Understandable why the Series S doesn't have a Performance mode. (And why Dragon Ball Sparking Zero! only has 1 Local co-op map.)
Hey look…another UE5 title running just fine on ps5. Like I said before, it all comes down to optimization from the devs. It’s not the consoles themselves no matter how much some of you wanna console war.
@@jacooosthuizen3593 i feel like it depends on the display and in settings you can adjust your HDR. I feel like we can say they are both the same. On an OLED display, it'll be easier to tell i feel like.
@@jacooosthuizen3593 i adjust the peak brightness in some of the games so that the lights aren't too bright. I also turn up the contrast to make the darker spots more black instead of grey. There are ways around it. At the end of the day, we can say, it's what the person wants. It's better to have variety than one for all.
This is rlly bad. On paper XSS should be one third the power of XSX, and 1080p is a quarter the res of 4K. Ik scaling wise in FPS its different, but if the XSX and PS5 can run at dynamic 4K to hit 60FPS XSS should hit that at dynamic 1080p. This isnt the 1st time this happens and it's all cuz devs too lazy to optimize well for XSS. Ik there are VRAM issues for XSS but it shouldnt cause this, it should cause lack of Ray Tracing and lower end texture which it does. If Xbox plans to make an XSS 2 they should have a way to cut down the optimization time and hastle on devs, maybe using AI or something. And no I dont fault devs much I fault xbox for cutting the XSS this much especially in VRAM. I also fault them for not telling people that some games will be locked to 30FPS compared to 60FPS on XSX. If I had known this I would have waited, saved extra, and gotten an XSX.
I cant accept games bellow 45/50 fps. Less than 45 fps, it s break my eyes. I prefer play in 1440 high with 60 fps than ultra 1440 at 45 fps ... I have a 4070 on my pc, and a ps5. On the ps5, my games are always in performance mode. When i play in quality mode, it s horrible. But something is strange, playing a 30 fps game on ps4 is ok, but 30 fps on ps5 it s horrible. I dont know why .... And when i put a ps4 game in my ps5, no blurry, perfect image. But when i play a ps5 games, on most of them, it s like i wear dirty glasses ....
PS5 using the old "over saturation" trick. Fools most people. I used to do it with really bad photos, over saturate and up the sharpness then print em on high gloss canon black paper. "Oh look what a great photo."
No performance mode for the Series S, That's pretty wild. Interesting the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 both drop a tiny bit of frames.

100%! 👍
Of course which was a big problem at the beginning of the Gen when devs wouldn’t optimize properly for the sx.
I have both ps5 and series x, and I’m so happy I’ve chosen the Xbox series X version
Can't beat that HDR on XBSX.
Agreed! 👍💯
You can the ps5 is so much more better. Night time looks like a grey background while ps5 is almost oled dark. XBSX is overly bright with no colors.

@@Gergenater Alot more contrast on the ps5 section i see, xbox just overly bright. each to his own i guess.

Ps5 feels good but i don't have either of them 😂😂😂
Just a lagdroid phone and an ipad that's it 😆🙌
I assume you can brighten up the game from the settings on the ps5 right?
Yea, default seems to show darker on my capture card
Didn't even know that such game existed 🤯 That is interesting!

It’s not 4K 60 on Series X or PS5
ps5 devs played with brightness and contrast here.. XSX is better IMO but not until December🤪
what resolution series s and series x has?
It’s all dynamic - series S is 1080 max
@@OpenSurprise not 1440p
PS5 way to dark can't see jack
It's the HDR
Better resolution in Xbox series x 🔥

This is actually wild, game looks like crap and the resolution is soo low on performance mode.
Poorly optimised devs should learn how to optimise by looking at games like the outlast trials, spider man 2 and forza horizon 5
Different engines.
