Both Vinni and Halil were involved with separate county lines drug dealing operations. It’s a huge problem. They recruit vulnerable children to traffic drugs and bribe them with new phones, trainers etc before grooming them to become reliant on/scared of the gang. Then they grow up and recruit more children or end up in other types of organised crime and prison 😩😕
I’m actually crying over this video, yes he had his problems within school, but it doesn’t help that he was put under so much pressure at home; and the fact he voluntarily went into care breaks my heart
He didn't voluntarily go to care, did he? His mum told him to leave the house... What I want to know is where (and from whom), as a child, did Vinnie learn to be so arrogant and violent. His mum? Just look at the way he walks and talks. There is areal proper violence within him. He was wanted by the Police only months after the end of this show.
The fact that he seemed so calm after he went into care, just shows how messed up and stressed he was at home. I feel so sorry for him, the reason he’s in prison probably came after he had to leave care. You could tell he felt secure there
I work in homelessness services and the vast majority of our young (under 30) clients are care leavers - under suported upon exit... Easy target for criminal gangs, usually County Lines... Massive collation between care leavers and homelessness, CJS and Mental Health needs is huge
As much as I think Vinni should be helped the teachers probably don’t know half of the quiet kids names because they give so much attention to one person

One boy I knew in Primary School even changed his name, but then changed it back to his original surname when his mum probably separated from his dad.
It's so sad to hear that Vinni went to prison he didn't seemed like a bad lad, just lost after his parents divorce. He had so much charisma and potential, I hope when he is released he will find his way again and be able to be the best person he can be
You can tell Vinnie just wasn’t given the support at home and that his mum just didn’t try. You don’t kick your child out for something so small! He blamed himself and wasn’t given the love and support of being told it wasn’t by his parents.
As far as I know, Vinni is in jail for drug dealing and is currently serving a 6 year sentence. Poor kid could have been successful and free with the right support and care :(
His voice! OMG! I wouldn't be able to keep a straight face anywhere around Mr Drew, no matter how serious the situation. I would have been in the doghouse the moment I set foot in his presence.
Seeing Ms Conway pep-talking Vinnie and putting him in his place when he tries to talk himself out of his behaviour. The fact he trusts her and listens to her voice is so important. She likely have changed his course of life.
My teacher is exactily like the headteacher in fact she cares a lot about me and stuff and I can clearly tell this because she gives me advice and hears me out and solves my problems like for example I had a English presentation but there was guys and I was a bit scared and shy and she said she’ll go with me and stuff and when I did my art exam she wanted to see it and I was clearly interested into the updates I gave her and at the end of school she stopped me and asked how it went and stuff and even yesterday she took me to detention because I didn’t I ain’t going and she took me and I was going to leave and she stuck her hand out and started taking me and stuff and she said cmon before I start pushing your bag and stuff so clearly she cares a lot about me because she don’t do it to anyone else

I sympathise with Vinnie so much. My parents broke up when I was 3 and I was stuck between their arguments for 17 years. It was hard. School was an escape mechanism for me.
What a weak excuse for a mother. "he'll know when he's older that I did it because I loved him" you kicked him out because of a petty argument, you literally avoid your responsibility as a parent because he hurt your feelings and then sent him to foster care. Disgusting mother.
You try been in that situation where is the father as well he is totally accountable vinnie needs to learn beating his younger brother up and destroying your mums house is not the way to behave 😮
t 1 01 honestly I want to do it aswell but honestly my reason is different to the whole I want to change people . I want to prove that teachers don’t have to be pricks and do what they do now to “educate kids”. I want to make it enjoyable for them where they learn aswell since that’s what school is literally about.
@@randomguy2677 Bro I really support this idea, but tbf if you're not a prick, the students will see you as an 'easy one' and they'll just mess around. It needs to be perfectly balanced.
Aesthetic Boye: Eh, there’s a difference between being assertive while standing up for yourself and being a “prick” I think. You can get people to know that if they give you respect, then you’ll give them a lot of respect and help back, as opposed to just being grumpy for no reason.
I had a form tutor in year 11 who (was also a PE teacher) approached kids problems with understanding, care, patience and fairly just like Miss Conway. She is amazing in her job and it is clear she really cares about the students and they do respect her.

This was shot in 2011 and now looking at the fact that Vinny ended up in jail for 6 years, I do think everyone of those "agencies," failed him. His school, his voluntary care or whatever and of course his parents. Such a shame...he actually seems like a such nice guy and with such massive potential...☹️
It’s such a shame I think his parent is not good but the school said he was always welcome no matter how much the teachers get annoyed. The teacher also cried so probably the school at least tried. He was a ring drug leader thats why he got arrested
That's rubbish for the school at least. The schools have to take the children as they find them, often with big gaps in their up-bringing which impacts on the school. Every time it comes down to the parents and home life. Social services are supposed to help fill in gaps, maybe they failed, (only he and his family know) but the school should not be a branch of social services, yet the burden ends up on them.
I’m just saying, adults don’t know what to say to teens. When he went and asked the two teachers for help they basically told him to apologise to his little brother because it was his fault, honestly Vinni needed so much more help and he might’ve actually gotten to a better point. It’s such a shame honestly.
It's a shame that Vinni became incarcerated. He had so much potential and he definitely could have contributed a lot to society. Hopefully he can rebound from his six year sentence
I don’t agree with mrdrew at all. Young people are so micro managed as it is. No need to control them like puppets. How does he expect them to learn any life lessons when they are being totally controlled. Obviously young people need guidance but they do not need to be controlled.
First name Last name It’s not really about control as in puppets, I think that was a poor choice of words. It is about children and young people learning to control their emotions, about learning to cope with boundaries and authority. We are reaping the fruits of anti-authoritarian child rearing, no-fault divorce etc.
Martin Winter It’s usually people from disadvantaged households which tend to produce the worst behaving kids. It was very rare to see someone from a more privileged background misbehaved
@@bilbobaggins6690 I don't recognize anything you say, there, about Mr Drew. The pupils Mr Drew was having to deal with (i.e. those on detention in his room) were incredibly rude. To interrupt, when a teacher or adult, for that matter, is speaking, is totally unacceptable. Society would literally break down if children could behave as they wished. Indeed, Vinnie was so arrogant that he thought he could continue to behave they way he did, in school, out of school. Personally I would 100% have let him get his schooling in the care home - which was an option for the Headmaster. To deliberately waste even a minute of a teacher's time, with poor behaviour, is a minute that could have been used to teach someone else who deserved it. Vinnie was strange. No doubt about it. Too strange for main stream school. MR Goddard did fail. He should have excluded Vinnie years before he did,
Did the mother really get no repercussions for kicking a 15 year old child out into the street? Surely that counts as abandonment, or neglect or something?
@@soul7530 it’s definitely not legal to do so. The problem is it often goes unnoticed or they avoid repercussions by the children in question finding other family or friends to stay with
my parents got divorced and its rly kinda affected me even tho i dont admit it its affected me. luvkily i still value education but sm children pretend noithing goes on when they are really suffering :((
I cried with the headteacher. It must have been so hard for the teachers despite all their efforts that Vinnie's life turned out the sad way it did. Heart breaking.
When the headteacher called up all those kids for the amount of games stored on the computer and they didn't say one thing, It was hilarious. *Mr so and so, You have 13 Days In Hell and 13 Days Nightmare 12, Would you care to explain?* 😅
I think the funniest part from the games scene was when Mr Drew called up someone for having 56 games in their personal user area and the student replies "no" to the excuses they might have.
I remember when social services collected me from school and stuck me in care worse day of my life. My life then spiraled with addiction took till I was in my 30s to turn my life round. They dump with who ever will take u and your left to do what you want theres not enough staff to take care of all the kids that a shoved in care kids fall though the cracks I feel for this boy you have no one to teach you right and wrong you have to grow up be4 u should
@@spongebobsquarepants609 well I'm sorry but i've been offered weed and lsd before and its so easy to say no, besides the school spent ages on this Vini kid to turn into a county lines traffiker, so its a waste. Some kids are destined for failure and thats the hard truth.
Vault peer pressure? the care system completely failed him along with a lot of young kids. he’s not destined for failure no one is but if u don’t have support u can’t fully succeed in life
i have a friend who reminds me so much of vinnie! could be a little fucker at times but he was just so loveable, charming and he really did have a good heart. if he had a stable home life i think he would’ve pulled through but unfortunately he ended up with basically no qualifications and is now serving a 12 year prison sentence for drugs crimes and possession of weapons. absolutely heartbreaking to see people go down that route but once they’re influenced by heavy drugs or dangerous people it’s so hard to get that charming little teenager back🥺
I have a classmate who’s dad passed away today and watching this makes me think hopefully he’d dosent end up like that sadly vinnie is serving 6 years in prison for drugs
D0ctorF0ster I’m private as well and have been for my full school life. 80% of my friends went to state. What I mean by private school is how students have a closer relationship to students as the class sizes are smaller.
Very I work in a college and I don’t work directly with students but when you have a student trust you and come up to you with an issue to do with anything you can’t switch off, I’m only 18 myself it’s so so hard to cope with xx
No one is questioning whether or not Vinny is messing with drugs? Not just a parent’s divorce can cause such a downfall? I don’t think he looks sober all the time. Then find out what’s happened to him and it’s sad but not surprising.
I like Vinny... All he wants is some attention...even if it;s negative.....But what would really help him, is someone to stop pointing out what hes doing wrong and praise him for little things he does well....Someone to listen to him, show empathy, give him eye contact..be there for him..treat him with respect and encourage him...
It genuinely hurts hearing how Vinni is such a gifted, bright child but he can’t push to his best because of his home life. It was so sad hearing he got kicked out of his house and its even worse now hearing he’s currently in prison for drug dealing
It seems that Vinnie interpreted his parents splitting up as them not putting the effort in to work things out or turn things around - basically giving up on each other and their family. His behavior then mirrors this too basically saying to them and any adults: "If you can stop trying so can I. Watch me destroy my life the way you destroyed my family. I see it as him punishing them by not allowing their dreams for him to come true. The school and the parents should have had him in councelling to address his hurt and anger over the divorce. The teachers were heroic in how hard they tried. The parents fell short. Where was the dad? They needed to make him see a therapist before he turned 18 and they lost all control over him. What a waste.
aw he is so cute he's just like how I was behaving but its not how we are rude etc its just getting our point across he's such a lovely person and cute lol
I find this shit bs tho cause he made those decisions ye he had problems in life but he chose to be who he is so don’t defend him is he chav a criminal so don’t bother u will never see him
I know somebody who went into care as a child. Children's homes are not a nice place. I really hope vinny can turn his life around. He was let down by his mum and dad.
Happened with my son at primary school, he autistic n got ehcp, and the school hardly supported him they leave him on computer while helping other kids xxxxx
I feel so bad for Vinnie. He had so much potential it seemed, but he did not have the support to help him to achieve this. It really is disappointing to see he’s went down the wrong path, I hope once he’s done his time, he can get the help and support he needs to live a fulfilled life.
Jeez this lad has had a very rough life. His parents divorced causing him to get very upset and have loads of problems, he then gets sent into care despite wanting to go in after his mam kicked him out, and now he is serving 6 years for drug dealing Also Mr Goddard seems like such a caring headteacher
Just goes to show how important a stable home is.

Innit I felt livid with the mother behaving like that
You try been in that situation where is the father as well he is totally accountable vinnie needs to learn beating his younger brother up and destroying your mums house is not the way to behave 😮
How would anyone want to be a teacher in secondary school.
t 1 01 honestly I want to do it aswell but honestly my reason is different to the whole I want to change people . I want to prove that teachers don’t have to be pricks and do what they do now to “educate kids”. I want to make it enjoyable for them where they learn aswell since that’s what school is literally about.

I had a form tutor in year 11 who (was also a PE teacher) approached kids problems with understanding, care, patience and fairly just like Miss Conway. She is amazing in her job and it is clear she really cares about the students and they do respect her.

the amount i’ve cried over vinnis situation🥺
This was shot in 2011 and now looking at the fact that Vinny ended up in jail for 6 years, I do think everyone of those "agencies," failed him. His school, his voluntary care or whatever and of course his parents. Such a shame...he actually seems like a such nice guy and with such massive potential...☹️
It’s such a shame I think his parent is not good but the school said he was always welcome no matter how much the teachers get annoyed. The teacher also cried so probably the school at least tried. He was a ring drug leader thats why he got arrested
Pretty sure the guy he got arrested with was someone he met while in care
He failed himself
That's rubbish for the school at least. The schools have to take the children as they find them, often with big gaps in their up-bringing which impacts on the school. Every time it comes down to the parents and home life. Social services are supposed to help fill in gaps, maybe they failed, (only he and his family know) but the school should not be a branch of social services, yet the burden ends up on them.
Imagine having Peter Griffin as your headteacher
That is a great idea.

First name Last name I agree I also don't like his sarcastic voice, his personality or his way of handling other human beings.
He should have excluded Vinnie years before he did,
Totally agree.
Did the mother really get no repercussions for kicking a 15 year old child out into the street? Surely that counts as abandonment, or neglect or something?
It happens every day with children and no it’s not counted as neglect or abandonment.

I like Vinny... All he wants is some attention...even if it;s negative.....But what would really help him, is someone to stop pointing out what hes doing wrong and praise him for little things he does well....Someone to listen to him, show empathy, give him eye contact..be there for him..treat him with respect and encourage him...

When i see him listening to em i just became happy
