After endless wrenching on cars, I figured with this mechanics session, I'd pull out the camera and share it with you all. I really enjoy working on cars, specifically Volkswagen / Audi group cars, and I also love filming. So, why not do both?
In this video we cover a notorious issue with the Mk5 Jetta 2.5. No, not the valve cover gasket, no not the PCV, no NOT the Vacuum pump, lol, but the wheel bearings. We replaced the ball joint as well. So far on this car, we've dialed everything in mechanically other than the suspension, and last of the suspension work being the wheel bearings. One of my favorite parts about wheel bearings is that you can learn every aspect of other things along the way such as brake pads, rotors, etc.
SO IF YOU CAN FOLLOW THIS STEP BY STEP, you could also do an entire brake and rotor job along the way!
