- We've been dreaming of a MAGICAL Christmas in France with the Husky Squad, and we chose the enchanting lakeside village of Annecy as our home base for the holidays. The pristine Lac d'Annecy is surrounded by dramatic snow-capped mountains and the village is so charming with a dreamy Christmas market. We live, work, eat, and walk in the quaint village of Annecy, and we play hard and #getthehuskyout in the surrounding mountains. We're also very close to the stunning snowy French and Swiss Alps where we go play in winter wonderland with the Husky Squad. I can't describe what it feels like to be back in France again. It's one of our favorite countries in the world! We love her mountains, culture, people, cuisine, and of course the charming boulangeries (bakeries) filled with aroma of fresh baguettes and pastries.

Rancho The Dog Hey Friends! Happy to see you here ❤️ again! So far, our experience with people in France has been so pleasant while walking with the Squad. The locals are so polite and kind to give the dogs their space (treated like people). When people stop us to “pet” the Squad, most of the time they are tourist. 😆

SOOOOO beautiful - everything about it. The scenery, the day in the life, the family all together living the European city life. I love how a majority of people just went on with their lives without even noticing the squad. I’d love to know your thoughts but I feel like many European metropolitan cities accept pups as family like we do. Do you notice many people stopping you wanting to pet the squad? Europe has been so welcoming to our pups, much more than the US. We do get people to try touching the squad, but it's mostly tourist. Locals will sometimes say hi to us, but mostly just respect our privacy and smile 😃 It's such a pleasure here and we're very grateful to experience it. We love watching your travels with your fur babies. They are beautiful Huskies. My son dressed his up.... but he didn't like the boots and hat. Didn't mind the top and Christmas light necklace. He walked kind of funny in the boots, not use to them.
Thanks so much Wayne! Yes, I can totally understand. Our Squad does not like wearing things that are unnatural to them. It stresses them out. But a harness, or collar, or even a loose neck warmer (like you see in this video) doesn't bother them. Happy Holidays! 😀🎄

We don’t take them where there are cars because it feel like it’s too much for them, but they enjoyed this a lot. We’ve also been out in the mountains every day here, and we go to the snow too - best of all worlds. Thank you for the compliment about the tree ✨ we found it here locally and decorated it ourselves, and after we leave Annecy we’re going to gift it to a special friend locally ❤️ sending so much love and merry Christmas to all of you!
