I have been calling a bunch of different places to get seasoned ground pork, nobody has it, so I will have to make my own, I can get the plain all over the place, same with a chuck roast, nobody has that. Keep in mind, I am in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada.

Me and my husband always cook big batches of everything my problem is he has passed away and so many of the family is not with us anymore but I just can't seem to shop or bake in smaller batches but I love to cook and enjoy your show it reminds me so much of how me and my husband work together right now I'm in the process of getting my Christmas cookies and candy ready so I can make baskets for the ones that don't have much

You may already know this, but when I can't find Rice or Corn Chex, I use the Crispex cereal - corn on one side, rice on the other. I also use it when making it for here at the house - only two of us and he doesn't usually partake. AND I love that you call it "Nuts and Bolts" - that's what my parents called it when we were young. We also used to make GORP for a little treat, too. Glad you are on the mend!

I love your videos. I know you have your reasons, but I don't think you charge enough for the baked goods. If I were going to make those brownies for a bake sale, I would charge at least $3.00 each. In fact that's what most coffee shops charge for brownies.

You’re lucky you can bake in your home for your market sale. In our neck of the woods we have to cook or bake in a commercial kitchen in order to sell anything to the public!

I never know what to get my kids and grandkids for birthdays. This year in September one of my daughters had a birthday and one of my grandsons turned 16. I stayed there to cat sit while they went on vacation and I made them a bunch of breakfast freezer meals as birthday gifts. My grandson was actually thrilled! My daughter was too, but he was especially happy 🙂
I know you have to appeal to the masses, but when I make Chex Mix, I actually add more seasonings than is called for. My family likes it highly seasoned. In a couple of weeks, hubby and I will have two of our grandsons staying with us for a week. I want to make your brownies when they are here. Sadly, I don't know that they've ever had homemade brownies. They are very familiar with the boxed brownies tho. LOL! Do you NOT have a dishwasher? I don't see one in your kitchen. If not, I admire you for keeping on top of the dirty dishes, and keeping your kitchen so clean. Good for you!

I also keep cooked bacon in the freezer, such a time saver.
I have made hamburger sheets like that sausage sheet before for a crowd. Will make the sausage like that next time i do breakfast sandwiches.

I would use a biscuit cutter and make everything round to fit the buns. A little waste could be used elsewhere, if it happened.

I have a counter top dishwasher and I love it. But nothing like hot soapy water to tidy up as you go.
