Hope so! Until then there's always hotlaps in the s2k, thankfully. Oh, and I wish you peppered the channel with some wrenching vids, I'd watch any of those =)
Haha, the wrenching videos almost always get significantly less views and interest, but I might consider some more over the winter. After all I’m not a mechanic (I can’t fix ANYTHING) ha
I’ve always been trying pedal cam, the best i could come up with is gopro sticky mount and that’s not a very permanent solution... still trying to get pedal cam working reliably again before Super Lap Battle
Looks like a nightmarish handful. Not sure what tires, but it's common to soften the setup and add in a hair of understeer. Here's an example of a good wet setup with good rain tires: th-cam.com/video/fFJQm5VapRo/w-d-xo.html
This was full soft on dampers from and rear, lol. Tires were semi-bald Yokohama Advan A052. There wasn’t really standing water on track but everything is super slick and low grip regardless.
Jackie Ding i was nervous just watching. Your car is already much looser then my setup in the dry!! But well handled on your third lap... Less wasted energy.
I actually have the same wet weather tire as you (Conti ECS), just elected to keep the Yokohama's on just to see how well they can do in conditions like this. Gingerman is also not very nice will all sorts of different pavements and transitions of grip levels.
Jackie Ding gotcha. The Conti ecs is super predictable and great wet grip. The track I was at exhibited no difference in traction regardless the line I took... Made things simple!
The celebratory skid haha! Did Hoonigan teach you nothing?! Good effort on the lap, for future celebratory skids though throw her in hard towards the apex and give a bit of right foot maybe even clutch if you feel extra happy then light steering and throttle application to get you through the exit of the corner.
Well driven.... Why dont you have more subs
Sometime I wonder the same question ha. No worries, the subs will come
Wooo! Talk about 10/10s driving!
The celebratory fuck up was great. Happens to the best of us.
Dancing in the rain! You're the man!
So glad I'm subbed!
Very nice driving! Congratulations on breaking record. I hope to be out on track soon
Awesome video! I loved the celebratory skid at the end!
It was great seeing you out there in person. Very fun to watch.
😱 Big balls man!! Great job and great save👍
I'll miss you on Hoonigans! All the best from Iceland.
Thanks! I might be back on Hoonigan before you know it :)

That was intense! Love the videos!
Jackie, I click on your videos the fastest. Love from Portland!
Awesome vid Jackie! Would you ever consider throwing some foot work clips in future videos?

Good deal man. Keep up the awesome videos. I learn quite a bit from watching you.
You are a god
老哥技术太牛了,支持!
nice control skills!!!!
Big risk...big pay off! Thread that line son!
haha nice way to end it. Awesome driving dude
That ending haha good job
Why did you drive with your windows down when its raining(or a light drizzle)?
Technically, we are not allowed to run on track with windows up for safety reasons. Even in the rain the windows must stay down.
That's interesting, I have not heard of that rule/regulation before, however I have not been to a track session(yet) so I wouldn't know
How did you get into formula driving? Did you just start by go-karting?
Not really. I did rental karting, but that’s about it
Dope video
Nice skills boi
You need more tire selection! That should be your next sponsor. Free tires :D
Yea someone call the President of Yokohama Tire and have him sponsor me, I’d appreciate that
Jackie Ding 😂😂😂😂😂
Is that you Takumi ?

Issa in the Wet me dude. I’ve skidded T1 so many times, the surface change accidentally caught me out ha
Looks like a fun time. I wonder what kind of laptime someone like Lewis Hamilton could put down in your car
Rain doesn't faze Jackie...
