My mouth gets me into so much trouble and I have a lot of guilt and regret. I think living in a world that has gone so evil is the reason for my downfall. I get sooo angry (righteous anger, as you said) at the evil happening around me that I totally lose it! I get 'hopping mad' and that's when the angry words spew out of my mouth. I justify it as righteous anger, but I still feel the sting of conviction that I am over-reacting and getting angrier than I need to. I know the Scripture that says ' Be ye angry, and sin not'. (Eph.4:26). There's nothing wrong with being angry at the evil, but when I rant and rave about it and about the people committing it, that's where the sin comes in on my part. I have really got to focus my attention on this issue until with God's help, I can get it under control. Thanks for the reminder....once again, VERY timely!
Wow!! I ended up taking the day off of work because I had been in pain & need to see my chiropractor. I got on here to find a video to help to relax & this was one of the 1st ones recommended to me. I'm in tears right now because the holy spirit has been dealing with me a lot lately about my mouth and watching what I say. In the last couple years, I started becoming more negative and critical of myself and others. I think partly due to a couple of my coworkers that I work with & a family member. So I can honestly testify that who we hang around with definitely affects us. One thing that I've been doing to help combat this is praying scripture or reading scriptures out loud. I don't do it that often, but this video was a reminder that I need to continue speaking more life and truth. Thank you for this timely message & I just subscribed to your channel. I also saved this video to refer back to later. 😁
Amen. This is good teaching. That is why God chose the tongue. It’s our most unruly member of our body, but when he fills us with the Holy Ghost/Spirit/Born of the Spirit we will speak in tongues. When he has control of our tongue, he has control of our whole being. Amazing message, Wendy. I have taken notes and will be in prayer for myself. I have a lot of work to do, but you are right, there is hope.
This is such a deep study and much needed. LORD, keep me focused on You and help me to be conscious of every word I speak. That all that I say will be pleasing to YOU.

I also liked how you talked about the need to have that fire a burning fire within us to be a witness for Jesus. In Deuteronomy and Hebrew it talks about God being a consuming fire. In Matthew 3:11, Luke 3:16 and acts 1:5 it talks about the Holy Ghost and fire. In Acts 2:3 it says tongues as like as a fire. Acts 2:1-4, 10:44-48 and Acts 19:2-6 it talks about the Holy Ghost and tongues. In Acts 15:7-9 it talks about the Holy Ghost and purifies and tongues of fire and Matthew 13:42, 18:8, Mark 9:47-48 and Revelation 20 and 21 it talks about the lake of fire. A CONTROLLED BURN is when a trench is dug around an unquenchable fire to consume the fuel source. Firefighters do this to fight fire with fire. The only way we can fight the fire of hell is to be filled with the consuming fire himself… The spirit of a holy God, the Holy Ghost and the evidence of that is speaking with tongues.
