Thank you for this comment. I almost fell for a scam. It is really sad when someone impersonates you to state I will gain Gods Favor if I give money to an Orphanage and reply back to a whatsapp number to get Gods Blessings. Do these people not know that a verified account shows who the real account is and that whatsapp is a pretty good sign its a scam.
I identify as a Christian but I say I'm not very good at it. I curse, I anger, I get frustrated with myself and others, I'm petty and no matter how much I seem to try I just go in a circle. This was spot on for the mistakes I make as I'm living by the flesh and not by the spirt. Thank you

Being honest with yourself is the first step towards getting better. Pray a lot about the things you wanna change in your life while trying not to do it anymore. It takes time, but I have done it and I know its possible. Just keep going forward and never give up.
Me too mate. I’ve always sworn a lot as part of my everyday language for the past 40 yrs which I’m struggling to break. Plus I have explosive outbursts of rage at other drivers on the road during my work day. Their driving incompetence frustrates me to no end😠 I’ve started asking for repentance straight away when I blow up but I just wish I didn’t have the outbursts in the first place😔
The only lack of self control is venting and defending myself with my mom bc when she is in thoes moods where it's dam if you do and dam if you don't I know better than to even try to defend myself I got a bruise on my left arm today from trying to defend myself and I know better plus what does it really matter anyway what she says or does it don't really its more important to keep the peace and keep my mouth shut
Self-control is on of the fruit of the spirit. It’s really hard to be disciplined but something we must work on as Christian. Reading the scripture, prayer and meditation helps me with this.

No one should take this lightly, Christian or not because it's a "conflict that can't be told in words." The struggle is immense. CHRIST cried tears in overcoming His flesh. There are many tentacles in the soul for flesh that Christ and only Christ can cut us away from...by God alone.
There were days, even before I became a believer , even during my walk with the God, I struggled with lust, bitterness and loneliness. I even struggled with self control. But after a certain point in my life, after being convinced that God loves me and speaks to me through his words, through certain people, and even this video, I'm convinced that although I'm not perfect, God loves me and cares about me just the way I am. In Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit
We lose self control bc we still think we have some righteousness. It’s pride. We are walking in our own power or we wouldn’t react/flesh wouldn’t rise up.
Signs of Depression: - Low Energy - Loss of Passion or interest (Spiritually, purposefully, relationally, etc) - Weight Changes (gain or loss) - Sleep Changes (increase or decreased) - Sexual discomfort (women) - Decreased Sexual desire - Appetite Changes (increase or decreased) - Self Loathing (can’t do anything right) - Critical and Negative Thinking - Sadness or Feeling Emotionless - Irritable and Isolating (Not wanting to be bothered)  - Loss of Concentration - Suicidal (Active or passive: i.e. I wish I wasn’t here) - Increased Anxiety (overthinking, excessive worry, edgy) - Doing the bare minimum to get by - General discontentment about life - Feel helpless or hopeless (things won’t get better or nothing will help) - Not as attentive to your hygiene These are a few signs of depression. Some people may have all, and others may have only a few. I wanted to post this for those who may not be feeling like themselves and you are trying to treat the symptoms individually, when in reality the are all a manifestation of one thing: depression. I hope this helps bring clarity to someone who may not be feeling like themselves. Now you can understand why and get the help needed to overcome this place ❤️

This sermon is very needed for all Christians. We became so sustained in our Christian life and unable to go through the correction and not able to have self-control. What an appropriate time.
I'd given my life to Christ years ago, then backslid without my knowing because I hadn't read the full Bible yet, and now here I am trying to live for Christ again by my own strength because I'm afraid that if I'm not careful enough I'll backslide again. It's all so overwhelming and I still wonder how I've not gone insane yet. I believe it's time for me to finally rest in Christ as I used to do and leave everything to Him again and just trust Him to lead my life because He is restless and always working and never fails. My God never fails.
I prayed Daniel for the Holy Spirit to take away all my fleshly desires and everyday it is a battle however going to the Lord in prayer 🙏 has helped me immensely with self control! I pray everyday to be filled with the fruits of the spirit! Amen for your teachings🙌✝️

This is funny because for years i have claimed i was christian but struggled with porn for years and lust also, i just started to read the bible and try to understand more and now i am 1 week clean and have given my life to God and i am closer to him. Im glad i have changed my life for the better. I dont currently have any desire to watch porn nor feel lustful acrion and i keep praying to him to help me ignore any coming my way. This philosophy hit me a few days ago. Sin is not evil nor good. It is the obsession of something. I now understand why God judged Moses, Solomon, Job, greediness, and pharisees. God wants us to grow and mature. Being in obsession of something prevents that growth. Or at least that's how I see it. Banning drugs, weed, or other "sinful" things don't make sense to me now. The contradiction to this is that we can be obsessed with the spirit. I guess that is also a sin. lol

I have a hard time dealing with self control. The world around us is difficult to deal with, especially if you have Christian values and you love God. People mocking God is upsetting.
I let frustration get the better of me I am a believer in God and our lord Jesus Christ but my situation is overwhelming sometimes I plead God for strength and faith to stand fast in my situation but sometimes I fall to weakness and vulnerability

Im glad i have changed my life for the better. I dont currently have any desire to watch porn nor feel lustful acrion and i keep praying to him to help me ignore any coming my way. As a new Christian... I battle every minute daily with my fleshly and spiritual nature. It's a constant tug of war and I pray the time it will get easier and I am able to walk in the light willingly always. Cover me with the blood of Jesus, For I am saved through him.

This philosophy hit me a few days ago. Sin is not evil nor good. It is the obsession of something. I now understand why God judged Moses, Solomon, Job, greediness, and pharisees.
God wants us to grow and mature. Being in obsession of something prevents that growth. Or at least that's how I see it. Banning drugs, weed, or other "sinful" things don't make sense to me now. The contradiction to this is that we can be obsessed with the spirit. I guess that is also a sin. lol
