For the new show based on "Heavven's Official Blessling" I wish they cast Zhu Zhengting as Xie Lian. Hes super pretty like the drawings of Xie Lian.
I read that title as:
"Hua Cheng DEFILED Xie Lian"
"Hua Cheng DEIFIED Xie Lian"
Before I actually read the right word lololol, oddly enough both misread words are also appropriate!

Lang Qianqiu is quite justified in all his reactions this arc, tbh. I, too, would be seething and miserable!
To me, this arc illustrates the main difference between Wu Ming and Hua Cheng: Hua Cheng _will_ go against Dianxia's wishes if what Xie Lian is doing will hurt/endanger him. Fangxin Guoshi arc and Venerable of Empty Words arc are very interesting to me, because they both show Hua Cheng won't always do what Xie Lian wants him to, but for different reasons. The second one is the only time Hua Cheng chose -bros before baes- fishes before flowers, so to speak.

I'm very disappointed with the art style for the Heaven Official's Blessing manhua. It looks so ugly to me. I wish they made it in the Mo Dao Zu Shi manhua art style instead. Then I would actually look forward to it more. The Mo Dao Zu Shi manhua art style was so pretty.
I litterly HATE the fact that they made hula cheng buff.
