Découvrez Laura Marling en acoustique, avec "When Were You Happy (And How Long Has That Been), interprété en guitare voix dans le très beau "Café Caché" du CENTQUATRE.
Laura is truly one of the most talented artists of her generation. Such a wonderful songwriter.
Woah. Absolutely spellbinding. Beautiful.
so bob dylan and joni mitchell! beautiful. loved it. heard it on parenthood and so glad I found it on you tube!
Wow... I keep thinking nothing new can be truly captivating and Ms. Marling ‘setting that notion on its ear’ may be the understatement of the decade..
This speaks to me and I am listening.
Mesmerizing drone sound. And the lyrics are sung slow enough and clear enough.
Great as ever, Laura. Also nice to see that guitar again, it's gorgeous.
Listening to some of Laura’s songs are like entering a rabbit warren and being taken to different levels; exhilarating…
Beautiful music Laura's marvelous

Pretty sure it's one of her Martin Dreadnoughts. Possibly the D-40?
Is her guitar in standard tuning? I'm trying to figure out how to play this
+Jackson Smith it sounds like drop d, but i dont know for sure
+Jackson Smith Its in DADGAD
nice, thanks man
anyone else think Gary Bodwin is a stalker? seriously!
I saw her out smoking in Portland with her band and got her autograph on my "I Speak" album. Then she walked out of a hotel elevator in LA and I wished her a happy birthday. I saw her come out of Bimbos in SFran, and go down an alley. I followed and she was sitting on a doorstep smoking and reading. I didn't have the heart to interrupt her. May in SF she walked out of the Club she'd be playing in and went up the street. I followed her for 1/2 a block and stopped allowing her her privacy.
GnB wtf is wrong is you
Let this woman be free from stalking sh*t
reminds me of Nina Simone love it
I hate to break the spell here, but..... what the hell is with the horrid fake Irish accent?!!?
This is a particular nervous tick seen mostly in English singers; fake American accent with electric, Irish with acoustic. Every Scottish band I can think of present their accent beautifully in their singing voice.
For me, this is a big deal, because it renders the delivery fake (quite literally, she's putting on a voice), and therefor the words. What a shame.
2 reasons: Laura at this time had moved to Usa. She said later her accent changed at that time
Other reason is that she isnt really singing nor talking. This inbetween techiniques makes it sound like this
@@adaswedentr yeh but also she's put on a fake singing accent for her entire career. And living in the US is not a reason to be English singing in an Irish accent. Sorry, for me it's disingenuous.
I think you must be mixing your accents up, doesn’t sound at all Irish…
