This video is mostly a review of Anker's soundcore Motion X600. However, the Sonos Move and the Bose Soundlink Revolve II make an appearance to give the X600 some competition.
I had fun testing it - I think its sound will surprise you with its 5 drivers, 3 channels, 1 upward firing sky driver ... spatial sound mode .... that can all go outside ... get extremely wet ... and get picked up for $200

I just bought the X600. And for a year I’ve have 2 Bose Flex’s that I pair. Sometimes I like the Boses more
I have since bought 2 X600s, so I have the Lunar Blue and Aurora Green. They are lovely to listen to. But I recently bought a red Bose Flex because I missed it so much
Congratulations...this might be the most precise and detailed tech review I have ever watched. Especially liked the speaker breakdown showing the innards. Listening with high quality headphones made a big difference. Great Job. My first ever tech subscription.

I bought both the Motion X600 and Bose Revolver Series II in recent sales, and ended up keeping the X600 which was £30 less. I only tested indoor, so the X600 had an advantage in a way as I think the Revolver Series II is a 360 and more outdoor open area kind of speaker. But I just found the X600 better, I didn't go up to Sonos Move due to price difference but I am very much happy with my X600 which I only use indoors
Great review! I have 2 Motion X600s and when paired the sound quality is jaw dropping. The X600 routinely drops in price to 149 so I recommend waiting until you see it at that price and buy two, I guarantee you will be pleased!

Even tho that i only own soundcore flare 2 im pretty shock how a fine size speaker perform (room) so clear and bassy 💀 soundcore are totally underated i hope it stays underrated so the price is low

One thing most people don't know about the soundcore motion x600 is the fact that it has a passive radiator. There is a TH-cam video of this gentleman who likes to take things apart as he did with the x600. Check it out if you can the build quality is quite impressive. You will get to see the passive radiator that is built on the inside enclosed. His channel is called Shak's Hacks. No disrespect mentioning another Channel I figured what he does is different from what your main objective is. Thanks

Great review! I have the X600, the Motion Boom, and a pair of the Motion+. I tend to use the Boom the most because I find the battery last about double, it's more durable, and at the beach mo bass is mo betta. The sound quality on the X600 is FAR superior. But if you pair 2 Motion+ in stereo (at a total of $160 right now) it's damn impressive. especially if you can place them against a wall to help couple the rear passive radiators. It also allows you to take just one of these tiny suckers with you when traveling and not take up half your carry-on bag.

Thank you for this comparison. I just ordered and received TWO Bose Soundlink Revolve II units. I think I was dazzled by the believe in the Bose brand. When hooked up in stereo mode, I thought, “Hmm, the sound seems…just ok.” I would have happily gone on with those speakers…but after seeing this video and one more, I instantly decided to check Amazon. Price? $149. Check. Delivery time? Tomorrow….I leave at 7pm tomorrow for my vacation in the British Virgin Islands where I plan to use two bluetooth speakers paired in stereo for a wedding that two of my friends are getting married at. Check. And….boom! I ordered the speakers. I should receive them in time before leaving.
I think I dodged a huge bullet here. These speakers are more highly rated. Another apparently true audiophile also agreed that these are truly excellent speakers, even refusing to review other units because their manufacturers refused letting him review them prior to agreeing to put out a review video on them. Soundcore was the only one that made the cut for him, and it’s the same in my case for these reasons. So one more time, thank you so much. You put me on the right path and I appreciate it.

I was looking for a speaker close to the same price. I do think it’s hard to find a portable/grabable speaker that is more compelling at the price point
Why is stereo compared to mono here? In this context, the question would have been how 2x Motion X600 and 2x Sonos Move would have performed...
No the question is performance at price point. Stereo is not the only way to sound different
I own several Soundcore products and their Space Q45 headphones are insane value for money and bang for buck are better value than the Bose top of line.
x600 sounds good indoors. bass is super weak outside, regardless of all settings and custom EQ.. i ended up returning mine to amazon and buying the JBL Encore Essential for the same price.
also I had the sonos arc soundbar.. sold it and bought the Klipsch "The Fives" last year.. what an amazing improvement in sound stage even though i went from "atmos" to 2 channel
you're definitely right about the JBL encore being much more powerful. It's also 5x the size so it's not really a good comparison, they have different purposes
@@lTheRealDealGamingl eh, they both have handles and are portable with batteries. The have the same purpose for me. Yeah the JBL is a bit larger but I bring it the same places

X600 is good for 50€ 😊
The X600 has a very bright, forward presentation that actually hurts my ears and has no bass. I'm sending it back to Amazon. It is NOT a high-res speaker. No amount of EQ fiddling helped it.

this speaker is crap. it's not an "outdoor" speaker. the "spatial audio" top driver is always on. can't do hi res with bluetooth. the bass distorts badly. your attempts at being funny are cringe. on that note i wouldn't expect anything different from a horrible sponsored review.
Rough Saturday night for you? The top driver is barely powered when spatial is off - bass does not distort badly … and it is an indoor/outdoor speaker. And sometimes I don’t work for free.
@@neverenoughtech first of all what you do is not work. top driver is always on, period. bass DOES distort badly on bass heavy songs. the speaker in general uses old tech to expand stereo sound. its not a good speaker and only those that are sponsored give it rave reviews. I also noticed that you incorrectly described the driver layout on the Bose 700 sound bar. I mean come on.
@@neverenoughtech barely powered? what does that actually mean? its certainly active in both spatial and stereo modes just less so in stereo mode since it has a highs roll off rather than the highs boost of spatial mode. Yours might not distort badly but a lot of us have terrible bass distortion, i certainly do. Most complaints seem to eb from people on firmware 4.x.x, can i ask what firmware you are on? Happier people seem tobe on 3. x.x Not sure what you mean by stating its both an indoor and outdoor speaker. Of course you can play any wireless speaker both indoors or outdoors but its mid bass focussed tuning wont suit outdoor listening as much as indoor. also given its weak bass (yes it has mid bass punch but no extension or upper bass push) it benefits from indoor bass reinforcement. On a side note the reference to adding a bunch of woofers and tweeters makes this speaker on the road to an affordable high fidelity speaker, can I ask, how would you do it WITHOUT adding woofers and tweeters? 😁
