      No, you cannot practice directly. Plus the rule of practicing facial cosmetology by dentists is different in each country.

      The exact rules have not been given by DCI hence all this confusion. If you see the interview he states that UK has clear guidelines. We can't share the exact rules coz there is no exact rules given anywhere.😐

      What guidelines will DCI give regarding facial wrinkles and facial rejuvenation...that is not a dentists domain...and rules in Uk are not followed in India....In India only NMC rules will be followed....For hair transplant clear guidelines have come...only MCH plastic surgery and dermatologists can do it.....For injectables also guidelines will be clear...Right now every Tom, Dick and Harry is doing this

    Yeah that is what cosmetology is not any recognised branch in India where you are working....Its all aesthetic dermatology...If You dont have knowledge of scalp then you dont have knowledge about skin also....so wrinkes in skin is also a dermatologist domain and wrinkle correction also....He is justifying how he can graze in others fields....wholesome definition of dentistry includes only orofacial area......not forehead or crows feet or nose....

    • @kaizendental
      @kaizendental  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      DCI has not given clear instructions yet so. He is saying based on what he feels comes under dental scope. For example if you have a missing nose you still go to a dental prosthodontist to replace it with an artificial appliance and not a dermatologist, there no one states it's a nose so let the patient not have it rather than get it done by a dentist. Similarly, I think government should frame exact rules to make it easier for all.

    • @g.k.1209
      @g.k.1209 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@kaizendental yes even artificial non functional eye implants are being made by dentists because they are good in making artificial teeth but that doesn't mean dentists are eligible for cataract or other eye surgeries.....I hope DCI would have given guidelines and syllabus for all dental treatments....so if DCI has not given any rules regarding botox, or nose fillers it simply means this subject doesn't come under them to even given guidelines......But people get into this field bcoz it has money ...In India who asks...even 10 th fail can do anything....what is the need to justify the wrongs in this country

      @Starwar99421 he is talking about cosmetologist, you guys are no way allowed to even touch the skin part, and entering into dermatology. Just cause of few dentists can't make it big, is an illegal act towards patients, as they don't just damage their face, but leave a scar in their life with their not so professional act

      @@skinbyrosh First, inform your doctor with an MS in general surgery that they should refrain from intervening in cases of facial fractures and trauma, as those fall under the of the Department of MDS in oral surgery. Additionally, what about your ENT specialist, directing their attention to the fact that oro-facial cancer cases are also within the domain of the Department of MDS in head neck oncology.
      Even after PG you confine yourself into dentistry means dental cavity.
      I think you are still stuck in 1880s where dentist means dental cavity

      If u don't like dentist then don't don't go to them for treatment.Most of the people don't even have basic awareness of oral hygiene and come to dentist with accumulated dirt of 20 years ,30 years.This kind of population should first get awareness and then comment about it.For your kind information gum inflammation can cause premature labor in pregnancy.Entire human body is an ecosystem ,one part affects the other.And thats why dentist have to study about basic sciences just like mbbs doctors.If u think mbbs doctors study entire body ,then why don't they treat entire body.Why do we have a cardiologist,a gynecologist???.Can these specialities treat other speciality patient????Dentist are specialist from the beginning in ug but in india people on believe what everybody believes and does not do research.They don't have scientific approach to life.
