Water Resistance:
Fitbit Versa is water resistant to 50 meters. After swimming or getting the band wet, we recommend drying the band because, as with any wearable device, it's best for your skin if the band is clean and dry. We do not recommend wearing Versa in a hot tub or sauna.
Materials:

You can get replacement bands on Amazon for under $10. I got a deep rose colored woven one that looks nice with the rose gold case.

I got the versa 1 se 3 years ago and I just finally upgraded to the sense 1! I’m still gonna keep the versa 1 because I still might use it with a different account!

@@xxhxt3dbxchxx351 I kept it as a gift for my partner that I'm going to give in two weeks as an anniversary gift. Therefore, I didn't try it out yet, but I still think it's going to be a great watch! I finally opted for the Samsung Galaxy Watch (for me) that had a massive sale as well in my country, so I bought both watches and the Samsung Galaxy Watch is very cool with all the extra features. But if you are going for a more sports watch, I would go with the FitBit versa :)

Got mine off ebay for a steal and boy am I loving it so far! I've always loved the fitbit line though as I've had various ones over the years. But my last one wasn't waterproof and I really wanted the versa for tracking swims! :D

What if I just want to use it to see the time and use the alarm clock? Has too much technology but I don't like the other clocks, do you think this will do just for the timer?
You may as well get a nice watch that has a stopwatch/timer on it rather than a smart watch. Just using a smart watch for the time and timer is a pretty big waste. But if you want a smart watch and that's all you want it for, then yeah.

I have a Samsung S3 Frontier but want something smaller and not as heavy... Its all automatic.

I’ve been contemplating getting this watch. It looks nice and I like the band. I’m wondering about the battery life because I currently have the Alta and it’s less than two years old and the battery barely holds a charge.
Anyone know how I can set my watch up with my wifi I use Bluetooth for the set up as I was out but now I can’t use a lot of app because it need WiFi connections

I’m annoyed that no one has done a water test. I’m trying to find a good reasonably priced smart watch for my mom for Xmas that you can swim with and I think this might be it. No one is doing a water test with these why when the description says they are swim proof????
Hi Julia, I have owned the fitbit versa for about 5 months now and i take it swimming in the pool and also keep it on in the shower. never had a problem with it, it's completely swim proof. Hope this helps!
Hello Julia, I had mine for a week or so. I tried to “drown” it in a sink to test the water resistance and it is all good. (I am ill so cant go swimming but really wanted to test the feature lol). After, I dried it completely with a cloth. One thing I did notice is that some people experience a glitch after having it on in the shower (it turns off and then turns back on) and on the support fitbit page somebody explained that it could be the steam- it gest places water cant. So I dont use it in the shower. Hope this helps

I use mine in the pool for Aqua Zumba and it does an amazing job even after the hour in the water! No problems!

Hi! I do not own the Versa but I owned the Alta. When I didn’t had my phone it continued to get my stats and later sync it to my phone. Although I couldn’t do any change to it like changing the clock :) I think it’s still the same but I could be wrong!
I have a problem in the charging of the watch ends up charging quickly and it should finish charging within 3 days or 4??
I believe Hayls said it lasts for a full 3-4 days on a charge depending on your usage.

Are there any night shift workers that know if it tracks sleep even if you go to bed at 8am? My current fitness tracker doesn't track if I go to bed after 3am.

I bought one when they first came out. Had to call fitbit a couple times for trouble shooting . I have a Samsung Note 8 and was told it was compatible with the 8. Well when fitbit changed their format a week later my Versa is no longer compatible. I am now out $200. Until I purchase a newer phone. This Sucks
