For some reason, I get the warm fuzzies when I see you take a piece of furniture that was doubtless in a little girl's room -- and she LOVED it because it was purple or pink or something -- and turn it into something that the grown woman she became would also love. 🙂

I wondered who was brave enough to tackle that piece and was somewhat surprised to find it gone. You did an amazing job. In my wildest dreams I never imagined such beauty was hiding under that. Wow, Angie, you did a magnificent job.

@@karenkouns577 : I looked at it because the size was perfect for the space I have but I knew it was way beyond my capabilities. I just refinish pieces to replace the our furniture that 37 rescue cats destroyed over the last 22 years. Angie does such a fantastic job and has such vision. I never tire of watching the videos from Transend Furniture Gallery.

She has an almost uncanny ability to feel/sense a piece and know exactly what it needs, and the knowledge/ability/experience to make it happen. I like the choice to paint the handles. It gives it that kick away from, as you said, the brown box!!

Painting the handles charcoal black was such a lovely touch and the perfect choice to unify the somewhat mismatched drawers. Well done!

Whenever I see a painted piece out and about I crave doing what you did to this one. Also I went away for a bit and it’s nice to see how you’ve changed and progressed in your process! Thank you for sharing with us.

You were very brave to take on this chest of drawers. Who knows what might have been under all that paint: stains, veneer chips and gouges. Beautiful transformation.

It does have an ombré effect. Beautiful work, again. I learn so much from you.

As usual exquisite! However, I would have loved to watch a longer video using all the products and applications for this transformation. ❤👏

I was also hoping it would be a little bit longer- it can be hard sometimes to hold attention when it's a lot of the same thing (for example, it was a day and a half just of scraping).

@@TranscendFurnitureGallery I don't mind how long it takes. You really know how to explain the process!

I don’t know if you ever get tired of being told how ah-mazing your work is, but, man, YOU ARE AH-MAZING! Incredible. There wasn’t a spot of pink left anywhere on that stunning dresser! Wow! 👍🏻👍🏻

SO glad to know more about sharpening the scraper. I have put a scraper on my Santa's List...I love the painted/natural looks. smart decision to give the handles a pop.
