I know that Kingdom Hearts is amazing but imagine how hard it was to get the idea through to the head and that brave guy that pitched the game about "Final Fantasy mixed with Disney" is a hero in my books

honestly I'm new to the kingdom Hearts scene and it didn't even take me long to notice that they never use it with the key part out like an axe. it's more of a blunt hitting weapon than an axe

This is incredible. Great job. If you want a real challenge though, try forging the "Oblivion Keyblade." Now that would be difficult. I don't even know if it's possible to be honest...

well in the games it use magic proprieties here is more like a mace with a teeth and handguards it can be usefull in a figth but is not used as a sword

Zen Razor Ohh, that's bad luck on the Wii U controller...Well, you can get a Wii U Pro controller to tie you over until the NX comes out....Anyway, got to check out the upscaler.....Although I'll see cause sometimes even with a upscaler, it's still hard to rea the text on screen.....Still, not gonna happen until next year....Again, too much FF and then Breath of Wild will tie me over until end of next year!

Zen Razor Nope. Not really. There is a power button there for a reason and I think The Pro gamepad could do that too.

I can understand sharpening the "teeth" to make it a "real weapon" but in the games and whatnot you attack with the teeth facing outwards from what you're hitting.

Can....Can you guys make Tira's RING BLADE (any soul calibur)? The Eiserne Drossel? It is a circular weapon with sharpness around it, pretty much like a sharp hulahoop. That would be pretty awesome to pull that one!

My dad is a welder/fabricator, and when this game first came out I wanted to make the kingdom key so bad! I was 9 at the time, so he did most of the work, but we more or less used the same materials as in this video and came up with a similar product.
It was a cool toy, one that I could hardly lift and I had it until around highschool when a weeaboo friend of mine found it in my garage and just had to strap it to his back while he ran around in his trench coat. I never saw it again.

I'm sure I'm not the first to ask this, but I wonder if and how much it costs for them to do personal, customized orders? Cause I've got a kick-ass idea for a single, all serrated edge, diamond shaped tip machete/sword, with a rapier style handle guard and a spiked pummel. My sketch of this idea looks like a giant steak knife from hell!

Note that Xemnas' ethereal blade lack the technology (similar to a light sabre) Xigbar wield arrowguns (they're sword smiths not gun smiths) Zexion and Luxord used paper based weapons (tomb for Zexion and a deck of cards for Luxord) and Demyx wields a sitar (wrong skills)
If they do make Xaldin's spears or Larxene's knives will they just make one or do the complete set (6 for Xaldin, 8 for Larxene) also Axel duel wield charkrim and Roxas only need Oblivion since they already made Oathkeeper and the Kingdom key for Xion (if you count her)

I'm a fan of this show, and a HUGE fan of the Kingdom Key. So unfortunately, I have to say two main things: YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO SWING THE KEY WITH THE CROWN FACING THE TARGET, and the other less important one is that the hilt needs to be a little thicker than that. I'll ignore the edged (and thin) crown, simply because you wanted an edge to it, but other than that, the main two things just rub me the wrong way. But don't take it seriously, because this is still a great replica, and I would love to attempt to make one myself, should I ever get the chance. Keep up the good work, guys!

There's no logical way that hitting your for with the smooth side would do any cutting damage. That's why it's called a fantasy game. Now, if you'll excuse me, Capt. Obvious, AWAAAAAY!!!
Yeah, the Keyblade's more of a battering weapon. Which is why we don't really ever see blood in KH.
We can really attribute the few times the Keyblade legitimately cuts things to magic. Or maybe it's a sharper Keyblade. Oathkeeper and Oblivion are pretty thin. But really, how often do we see a Keyblade legitimately make a clean slice through something?
No, Ventus' keyblade isn't held backwards, it's held backHANDED , or "upside-down" to put it in layman's terms. And it's also this misconception that results in fanart of his keyblade being depicted with the teeth facing the wrong way, which on his keyblade is highly noticeable
